It was a whole new day . Carmen woke up and got ready. She was in a happy mood this time . She wore her regular clothes and came out of her room . She saw her mother getting things ready for their breakfast .
" Good Morning sweetie " said Carlotta .
" Good Morning mom " said Carmen " Do you need help with anything ?".
Carlotta said ," Yeah . Could you get the table ready please ?".
Carmen said ," Of course " and she took out a few spoons and forks .
Just then Gray walks out of his room . " Good morning Carmen and Ms. Valdez " he says .
" Good morning Gray " says Carmen and Carlotta .
Carlotta goes to the stairs and says ," I am just gonna go and wake up the kids ." And she goes upstairs leaving Carmen and Gray alone .
There was a bit of silence for a few seconds but then Carmen broke the silence ," So Zack , Ivy , Chase and Julia are coming back tomorrow ."
" Oh " said Gray . Then Gray came closer to Carmen and took her hand .
He said ," Carmen , I need to ask you something ".
Carmen looked at him and said ," What is it ?".
Gray asked ," Will you go on a date with me ? ".
Carmen smiled and said ," Of course . Tonight ?"
Gray hugged her and said ," Tonight ".
A few hours later...
Gray started getting ready for his date with Carmen . He wore a white shirt and black pant with a black coat on his shirt with a red tie . He got out of his room and waited for Carmen . A few minutes later Carmen came out of her room . She wore a red dress with a side bun and red sandals with a side bun hairstyle . This was her look :-

Gray couldn't stop looking at her . He hugged her and whispered ," You are looking gorgeous ."
Carmen giggled and said ," You too ."
Gray squeezed her shoulder and said ," Shall we go ?"
Carmen smiled and said ," Yes ."
As they were walking out of the house Gray spotted a red flower . He plucked it and kept it in Carmen's hair .They both got into a car . Gray was driving . He took her to a restaurant . They took a seat inside. Carmen could feel the wind in her hair . She felt a little tensed because this was the first time she was on a date . Gray could see that she was tensed and he asked ," Hey ... Is everything alright ?".
Carmen said ," Yeah . I'm just feeling a little tensed ."
Gray asked ," Why ?".
Carmen said ," This is my first time being on a date . "
Gray was surprised . He said ," Wait what !!! How come nobody ever asked you on a date ?".
Carmen smiled and said ," They did but I declined ".
The waiter came and asked them for their order . They both ordered Empanadas . After the waiter went They started talking again .
Gray asked ," So tell me more about yourself ".
Carmen said ," Ok . My favorite country is Mexico . My favorite food is Dulce de Leche . My favorite color is red , Of course you know that already and my real name is Esperanza Valdez .
Gray said ," Both names suit you perfectly . But should I call you Esperanza or Carmen ?".
Carmen said ," You can call me Carmen ."
Carmen and Gray talked for a long time . Gray was cracking some jokes in the middle and Carmen's laugh made him so happy . They both walked out the restaurant and went back to their home . It was late in the night and everybody was asleep .
When Carmen and Gray were just about to open their bedroom doors , Carmen holds Gray's hand and says , " Hey . . . I really enjoyed today . Thanks for taking me on this date ."
Gray smiles and says ," No problem . I really enjoyed spending time with you too ."
Carmen and Gray remained silent for a few seconds then Gray asked ," Will you be my girlfriend?".
Carmen smiled , threw her arms around Gray and kissed him and said ," Dose this answer your question ?"
Gray kissed her back and said ," Yes ".
They both went back to their rooms and fell asleep slowly .
