Chapter two: Power reveal

"who is cas-" I tried asking until the house was moving me around "AHA OH WOW".

"Okay Casita how do we find out she has a power" Mirabel asked ' wait does the house speak'.

"Thanks that doesn't help at all" I hear over my thoughts.

"Ok so Casita didn't help at all but let's go do some test outside c'mon" Mirabel then grabbed my hand and dragged me outside.

"Ok what do we do" I stand there so lost.

"Try flying" I shrugged and jumped "ok ok hold on I think I can do this" I lifted one arm like superman and jumped just to come straight down.

"Yea I don't think so" I frowned.

After many days of testing random things to see if it would trigger some power:

"Looks like I'm powerless" I shrugged as I slumped on a couch Mirabel followed "yea I guess so".

"Why do you guys look so tired" Camilo said as he was eating an apple "we were testing if y/n had any powers and we got nothing".

"Ha sucks to suck" 'can you believe this guy, this whole time I've been here he's been so evil to me, he did some pranks here and there and been very hateful to everything I do'

"look here dude I don't appreciate your little remarks".

"Geesh no need to get all defensive" he walked off leaving me upset.

"He's going to get it one day" Mirabel gave me a eye "what" she smirked "well I do know a little fear he has" she looked away from me.

"Andddd what is it"

"Oh it's just something he's always hated and feared all his life you know how it is"

"Mirabel your killing me just tell me I wanna get him back" I got on my knees begging

"Ok ok I'll tell you" she gets closer and whispers "spiders".

"Huh really" out of nowhere Dolores popped up "you can't he's deadly scared of spiders, one time he pissed himself by seeing a daddy long leg in the shower".

I muffled my laugh before calming myself " it's okay I won't do real spiders I'll just have to think it through".

"Just be careful" Dolores said before exiting the scene.

"Oh it's going to be hilarious" Mirabel got up.

"Ik I'm excited, I just need to find away to scare him".

Mirabel yawned "okay but let's figure it out tomorrow it's late and I'm tired" I nodded and we both headed up to our rooms.

She goes to her new room she got after saving her family while I'm sleeping in their nursery.

I fell asleep right when I got in the sheets.

My dream was just butterflies, butterflies outside in this huge land covered in beautiful green grass.

I was woken up by a loud thud "wha" it was Antonio.

I yawn " yes Antonio?" He pointed above my head there was butterflies.

"Hm... Why'd you put them up there" I asked  knowing he understands animals.

"That wasn't me, those aren't even real animals"

"Huh what do you mean not real butterflies" I went to touch one but it faded away... it was air.

"How" I turned to him, he shrugged "d-did you make them".

Looking at him "well I don't know I was dreaming of butterflies but I'm not too sure if that was me"

"Make another one" a bit surprised on what he said I asked "what why".

"Maybe it was you I mean no one in this family can make things with their powers"

I shrugged 'maybe it was me' I thought of a blue butterfly in my hand.

I slowly imagined it appearing in my hand and when I opened my eyes it happened as I imagined

it was me I think.

"Wha- I- me- you see that it's me" Antonio nods in excitement "do something else"

I try doing something a little bigger so I decided to do chair with wings, again I just imagine appearing up.

And boom it happened again "HAH I HAVE A POWER HAHA".

'now I know exactly what prank I'm going to do'
