Sundrop/Moondrop x Reader

Part 5 Maybe He's Not So Bad?

                                      Y/n pov
*skips a few minutes of her waking up*
Y/n is walking to the Pizza Plex knowing it will be another boring day. She gets there and walks into the daycare as usual the kids are there you sit at the front desk watching Sundrop and the kids do the usual Sundrop noticed you and waves y/n waves back with a warm smile. After a bit you notice a kid going to Sundrop whispering to him the same kid that got lost yesterday. After he told him something Sundrop smiles and points to you the little girl runs over and gives you a card that they did at craft time early before your shift. You read it as it says *thank you miss y/n for helping me find my mommy thank you so much!* you start to smile making you feel happy then you notice and another thing and the second part of the card *Also I think Sundrop might like you he talks about you a lot!* y/n starts to blush and look at Sundrop and you realize he was already looking at you you turn away trying to make it look as if you were not going to stare.
  

Y/n leans down to whisper to the girl thank you dear for the card and for the Sundrop news but I'm pretty sure he does like me! Because I'm a great best friend to him now go on I must do some things thank you again. Then gave a warm smile the girl laughs and walks off. You put the card on your desk and grab the book you brought with you today to read till the kids left. When it was closing time you put your book down and walk over to Sundrop "Hey Sunny so how was the kiddos today?" "Hiii y/n there were great even one made you something isn't that so sweet" he says with a big smile. "Yes it is! It made me feel happy too it was very cute she even told me a Secret." "Oooo really what is it?" "Well it wouldn't be a secret if I told you sunny" y/n giggles Sun: "I guess that's true"  Y/n : "So let's get to cleaning shall we?" Sun:  "Yes we shall" *after cleaning* Y/n: "All done hey sunny why don't we decorate?" "decorate? Like how?" "Well since it's Christmas let's put some things up for the kiddos so they are surprised tomorrow" Sun:  "Ooo ok let's do it but we will have to do it quick the lights might turn off so-"

*lights flicker off*  "oh no"  "hm well look who it is the girl who likes me~"  Y/n: "likes you when?" Moon: "didn't you want to kiss me?" Y/n: "no you were acting like that to me" Moon: "mhm oh really whatever makes you feel better I guess I did~" Y/n: "why have you not tired to hurt me?" Moon:"maybe because I'm waiting for the right moment to~" Y/n: "yeah I wouldn't doubt that. anyways since you're out help me decorate just do the walls if you do that I'll leave you be" Moon:"who said I wanted to be left alone? But I guess I'll do it just this once darling~" *after decorating*  Y/n: "all done looks great a bit hard without lights but it worked out!" Moon: "it looks stupid"  Y/n: "Shut up buzz kill" Moon: " it's true though"  Y/n: " yeah whatever...................... hey do you wanna maybe read a book with me?" Moon: "hm? Idk I I guess"

Y/n goes to grab the book she was reading earlier and walks back to Moondrop and grabs his arm and takes him to a comfy spot Y/n "sit down!" Moondrop sat as she told him to and she then sits in his lap Moon: " what what are you doing~?" Y/n: "sitting in your lap duh now shut up and just follow along with my finger" *after a couple chapters* Y/n: "yawns" "I'm tired Mooney I think imma just fall asl-..." Moon: "..... Hm" 'she's not so bad I guess maybe I won't kill her WAIT DID SHE CALL ME MOONEY?! she she gave me a nickname? Hm idk what to do about her wait should I move her? I don't want to wake her but why? I guess I'll stay this way for now.'

*lights flicker back on* "huh oh?" Sun looks down to see Y/n sleeping in his lap. "I wonder what happened? Wow the place looks so great too did Moondrop help her I wonder but I'll ask later till she wakes up for now I'll let her sleep~"
