Today was my tenth day at the new school. In a sense, I was able to join the society of my classmates and become one of the most inconspicuous guys in the class. Yes, there is little to be proud of here, but still it's better than if I was constantly humiliated and bullied.
I also have a friend, Matsushita Chiaki, who often walks with me after school. True, this happened only 4 times, since the rest of the time she was walking with a group of girls, but this is also not bad. I still haven't been able to persuade her to come to our mansion again, because it was working days of the week, but she's kind of free on weekends, so I can spend some time with her. Well, at least I hope so.
I can also add that I maintain more or less good relations with some classmates, for example, Hirata Yosuke, Horikita Suzune and Akito Miyake. These three talk to me from time to time, which is already good, since all the other classmates, excluding Matsushita, don't even look in my direction.
Now the lunch break has started, and I decided to take a walk around the school. Matsushita went out to lunch with her new friends and said that she and I would be able to walk together only after school. Well, I didn't mind that she was also looking for a bigger social circle than me. True, I started to feel a little lonely, but it's not scary, this can happen to everyone from time to time.
I left the building of the school where we had classes and went for a walk on the territory of the educational institution. Away from the entrance there were several benches where students usually spent time either after classes or before classes, that's why I went there and sat down in an empty seat. People passed around from time to time, but they all just spent time walking and at the same time they did not want to sit down at least on one of the benches. I didn't know the reason, but it also allowed me to be in a calm environment.
In front of me, however, there was a view of a small garden, which is tended by students. Several people from the gardening club are working hard right now to transplant a few colorful flowers pleasing to the eye to an empty place. These guys work hard for the good of both their club and their school, but I'm still not like that. Maybe I should join the club too?
I looked at the other building, where there were offices for club activities, a gym and a library. There is still enough time for me to look around there a little, because there may really be something interesting in this place.
I moved to the four-story building of the school and passed the students, as if the water bypassed the stones. Moving alone is much easier than if I had someone else with me. At this pace, I managed to reach the entrance to the building quickly enough, after which I headed for the stairs near the entrance and immediately moved up the stairs. Thank God there weren't so many people here, so it didn't take me long to get up.
I went up to the fourth floor of the building and walked along the almost completely empty corridor. I came across different classrooms with different accessories, and on the signs next to these classrooms were written the names of clubs and the names of club presidents.
The first was the geology classroom, where the Classic Lit club was located. The President is Chitanda Eru, Class 2-A.
I think I've heard of this family. Apparently, the relatives of this student own farm fields not far from here. Interesting.
- Hey.
Someone suddenly distracted me from these thoughts. I turned to the side and found two people who were also walking down the corridor, only already to meet me. One of them was a girl I had already seen on the first day of school. If I remember correctly, her name is Tachibana Akane, she is from Class 3-A. I don't know anything about the second one, but it looks a little familiar.
