After 4 years."Mommy... Mommy..." Their three-year-old screamed and ran towards her mother. She turned around as if she expected her to come and widened her arms for her when she jumped towards her when she was setting up the Christmas tree. Following her daughter, her father arrived and sat next to her.
"Daddy said Santa will be calling us to confirm his visit to our house." She said innocently while looking at her raising her head to her face. She kissed her forehead and turned to her husband for his reaction. She knew that her Santa was sitting right next to them. He smiled wickedly to her not before kissing her forehead.
It has been three years since they moved to the US permanently leaving everything behind. Not leaving their past to give them a chance to follow them. But unlike before they are living an open and carefree life with their daughter and working in their very own café. Mahi's citizenship helped shivaay to start a new career for him and a perfect start to their new life. But they can't ignore the fact that they are here because of his brother's sacrifice. Keep in their memory forever, they named their daughter, Mahira.
"Will you ask for gifts, Mumma?" Mahira asked Anika when she finally broke their family hug to restart her work for Christmas.
"I already got my gift, sweety. Why will I ask for more gifts?" She asked her while kissing her cheek, indeed, she couldn't ask for more gifts from God.
"What gift?" Mahira asked her innocently.
"My gift is sitting right before me and asking questions to me, baby," she said and hit her head slightly. While a person beside her moved towards her earlobe and whispered "I am capable of gifting the upgraded version of this gift, sweetheart" as usual her body responded to him before her brain could, she felt chills, but she managed to turn down his intentions but not wantedly.
"Slow down, Mister. You're a father now." She replied to him while pushing his head away from her shoulder.
"I knew it already; I don't want you to remind me again." He replied in a fake rude tone and held his daughter and placed her in his lap while she makes him wear the Christmas hat. While then, Ariana and her husband paid a visit to their house, more than nobody else, Mahira became happier to see them over there. Before three months, Ariana got married and she resigned from her job to start her new business which she had always been fond of. At the start, Anika couldn't accept her wholeheartedly but eventually understood her point of view, Mahi was related to shivaay by blood, but Ariana did everything for shivaay out of pure love which made her let go of everything. Mahira ran to them and gave them a warm hug.
"Merry Christmas, my baby!" She wished her baby while kissing on her cheeks which turned rosy because of her kisses, but Mahira didn't complain but continued to hug her. After Mahira, shivaay welcomed them inside and had a chat with her husband while the ladies walked inside the kitchen on purpose.
"I just prayed all the gods not to make you enthusiastic and opened it up to your husband, yet?" Ariana asked her with expectations. It was not hard; Anika couldn't keep a secret from her husband. But it's worth keeping him under a shade for a few hours until she opens up the news to him.
"Mommy... Mommy... Santa is calling..." They heard Mahira's voice which broke the moment to the present happiness.
"Shivaay is here... Then who's calling as Santa?" Ariana asked Anika confused.
"Who else? the one only Khanna." She replied and she chuckled along with her when they realized how much Khanna could go for his chief and they both guessed the same when they witnessed Khanna's unconditional love for him. He's now working with his wife Lata in shivaay's café as a chef. Lata's expertise in making Swiss rolls and Chocolate fudge cake gained publicity to the café.
