hi author here haven't updated in a while cause its hard to be motivated . also i try to keep A/N's short if possible

'BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...BE-'

a loud groan could be heard from Kai as he knocked the alarm clock of the bedside locker and stretched his arms. 

''the hell is morning practice so early'' he grumbled hoping out of bead to shower and get changed into his training gear.

~mini time skip~ 

Kai snuck down stairs as quietly as possible seen as he was usually first up in the mornings, if you could even call this ungodly hour morning time. Like any normal human being he got himself cereal for breakfast. 

*Kai P.O.V*

I groaned yet again as I sat down to eat my cereal. wonder should I text Bakugo, hmm no its to early he'll kill me or is it? I had picked up my phone to think about it when I heard the kitchen door slide open releasing a very manly squeak I turned to see Endev-Dad staring at me confused the awkward staring continued for a minute till he gave up and started to make coffee. I shrugged and went back to considering texting Bakugo. 

''So uhh why are you up this early on a Sunday'' he asked confused. I looked up surprised he even talked to me. 

''Volleyball practice, you?'' 

''Work stuff'' I nodded again and that concluded our conversation. I glanced down at my phone surely it couldn't hurt to send him a- I blinked in surprise and threw my phone on the ground, he had messaged me crap what do I do. Do I ask Suga-senpai? no no then everyone will know. I heard dad clear his throat and look at me once again confused. 

''ehhh my friend texted me something funny- I gotta go now or I'll be late for training byee'' I say hurriedly as I rush out the door. That was close last thing I need is dad finding out about Baku...shoot I still haven't looked at the text yet better check it. 

=Kais Phone=

Katsu: morning 

Kai: ohh good morning :)

Katsu: didn't expect you to be up are you a morning person?

Kai: ha nope

Kai: I have volleyball training on Sunday mornings, you?

Katsu: cool 

Katsu: shitty hair wanted to go on a run with me and Pikachu for training 

Kai: thats the one with the red hair and the blonde one from yesterday right?

Katsu: yeah

Katsu: they just arrived so I have to go but  I'm free to meet up at the shopping center around 2 if you are

Kai: that sounds perfect meet at the shop Sho-chan and I were in yesterday, bye :)

Kai smiled as he put his phone away and he had about another fifteen minute walk till he got to the gym but because he stopped to text Bakugo he was already three minutes late. 

''shit I better run'' with that he ran off in a rush

~another mini timeskip~

*kai P.O.V*

''I-pant-Made-pant-it'' I said opening the gym doors everyone stopped and turned to look at me.

''your ten minutes late so you can stay after the game to clean up'' Daichi said across the court

''Yeah no probl-Game? we don't have a game today that's next weekend right? NOnonono I don't have shoes cause I got distracted yesterday '' I panicked I don't have proper shoes crap. I looked around and noticed that there was in fact the entire teams of Nekoma, Fukurodani  staring at me along with my own. I sighed and walked over to coach I give up why the hell are they even here this early. they go back to talking and messing around while I talk to coach and teach. 

''Sorry for being this late it wont happen again I promise'' they nodded 

''do you have a reason for being late kid''  I felt my face heat up  a bit when Ukai said that if I hadn't been texting Bakugo then I could have gotten here on time or at least a little bit earlier...wait Bakugo! I agreed to meet him at 2 crap. then I remembered they were both still waiting for an explanation. 

''My Alarm didn't go off and then my dad wanted to talk to me before I left I'm terribly sorry sirs. Also when is this training day over coach?'' 

''It's over around half five but we're taking an hour and a half break at half one, go do stretches you can borrow a spare pair of shoes from the school'' he said I wasn't really listening if we leave at half one it gives me time to meet with Bakugo. 

''Yes'' I punch the air slightly running over to the changing room only to be stopped by Suga-senpai, 

''what is it senpai'' Suga is one of my favorite Senpai's he was like a chaotic mom and since i can't really visit mum that often cause dad used to not let me its nice. not that I'd ever admit that to him of course. 

''hmm I think your hiding something kouhai'' he already knew! dammit 

''uhh no no nothing happened I'm just tiered thats all'' he frowned a bit 

''you told coach you slept in?'' crap I can't lie 

''fine i'll tell you but you can't tell anyone well maybe Daichi-Senpai but thats it ok'' he nodded excited. 

'' I went shoping with my brother-''

''YOU HAVE A BROTHER'' i facepalmed 

'' yes yes I have a brother three- well no two actually and a sister now as I was saying, we went shopping cause my volleyball shoes were broken remember and while I saw a pair of shoes and wandered off and when I went back he had met his school friends when he introduced me it turns out one of them was my soulmate and I was texting him this morning and we're going for lunch around two.'' after I finished that I covered his mouth to make him to stop him from screaming it didn't really work
