#LOUIE'S POV:

We began to walk around Duckburg looking for the cheapest motels around the area as we didn't know how long we'd be staying, and if it was for a while we didn't want to spend too much money, whilst walking everyone was silent, I guess they were still all feeling really awkward of what had just happened. After an hour of walking around we finally approach a motel near the south side of Duckburg called 'Fortune' which made it sound like it was gonna be expensive, but to our surprise when we looked at a price on the board outside of it, it actually seemed to be a decent price considering all it had to offer, Spa, Gym Restaurant and Bar, so we all looked at eachother, not even having to say anything before Dewey took the first step in, with my mom following, then the rest of us.

When we got into the hotel, everything seemed a bit strange, there seemed to be pictures everywhere of an older duck- never recognised her, but she was everywhere, we slowly but surely approached the reception where we saw a slim male duck, wearing a tuxedo suit.
"Hello, and welcome to Fortune Motel, how may I help you?" he said in the most monotone voice ever, he really didn't seem like he enjoyed his job at all. "Uhh- Hello, may we have a room?" Della responded as the man looked at a booking sheet, "Yes, do you know how long you'll be staying ma'am?" He asked my mom, then Della looked at us then looked back at him, "No, sorry." She replied.
"No worries at all, your room number is 013, here is your key." He nodded and handed it to my mom. "Uhhh- thank you." Della said, then we turned around and walked away.

"Yeesh-" I paused "He really doesn't like his job huh?" I continued. "I know right, not once did he even let out a slight smile." Huey nodded.
It was odd, however I suppose it kinda made sense, people using the spa all day and they have to sit behind a desk. I saw Dewey looking around suspiciously but never got round to saying anything because Webby had beaten me to it. "Dewey, what is it?" She asks.
"Nothing," Dewey paused, "Just, I haven't seen anyone around." He continued; then we all looked at eachother. "I mean, that's a good thing right?" Della asked, "We have the whole motel to ourselves." She smiles.
"Yeah- but Dewey's right," I replied,
"For a place this nice and this cheap I'd expect there to be a fair amount of folks in here." I looked at them.

Finally we approached the room, You know for it being one of the lowest numbers they sure did make sure it was secluded from the rest of the other rooms, yet the number of the room still gave me the chills- I know 13 is known as an unlucky number, but I was probably just being silly. Mom pulled out the key and unlocked the door with it, I then ran past them and took a leap onto the biggest bed.
"I call dibs!" I shout, as I hear everyone groan since they didn't dibs the bed in time.
"Alright kids, anyone hungry?" Della ask, as we all sat up immediately. "Yeah! Starving!"
Dewey responded. "Okay- you kids stay here a moment, I'll run down and get some food."
We all responded in a nod.
"I'll come with!" Huey said, then got up and followed my mom out the room.

Me, Webby and Dewey all took a look around the room, it was surprisingly huge! Honestly it looked so cool, and the view from the window was to die for, "Wow, feel how soft these towels are!" Webby shouted in her usual enthusiastic tone from the bathroom, then me and Dewey walked in and felt them.
"100% cotton for sure." Dewey responded.
"Guys, do you think Uncle Scrooge- errrr , and your dad Webby will just- quit being so- you know." Dewey spoke again.
"Uh- I don't know" I responded,
"I'm sorry for all of this." I looked down, but then was immediately cut off by the sound of Webby's voice. "Louie! No one blames you, you didn't do anything wrong, it was Scr— my dad... he was the one who is mistaken."
I looked up at her and smiled slightly,
"Thanks." I responded,
"Hey, after we eat you guys wanna head down to the spa? It's all free anyways."
Dewey smiled.
"Yeah sure! I think it would be good for mom too considering she has a lot of stress on her anyways taking care of 4 kids." I nodded.

Huey and Della after about 10 minutes walked into the room holding a few trays of food.
"The food smells amazing!" Webby shouted, then Della let out a chuckle.
"Yep, it definitely does, so let's tuck in" She smiled, placing the tray on my bed as it was the largest one. "Louie, I got you some pep whilst I was down there." Huey smiled, then I returned the smile "Thanks Huey!"
My mom then placed a tray infront of me that had a couple chilli cheese dogs on it, whilst the rest ate hot dogs. "Louie, wanna try a hot dog?" Della took one of the tray her and the others were sharing, then I backed away immediately, "No mum- I-" I got interrupted by Huey,
"Yeah- Louie doesn't like hotdogs." He said, then looked at me and chuckled.
"Yeah- uh that" I chuckled too.
"Alright honey." She smiled, then ate the hotdog she was holding.
"So uh mom- me, Louie and Webby were wondering if we wanna head down to the spa at any point after we're done eating?" Dewey smiled, then I took a look at mom who's smile grew even larger. "Oh my gosh, yes! I can definitely go for a relaxing evening- no stress, no responsibility, no worries." Della responded then pushed the empty tray of hot dogs away.
"That's us done anyways." She smiled, then looked at me, "So am I" I responded.
"Let's go then!" Webby shouts, then we all stood up and began making our way out the room with all the stuff we'd need down there.
