the sound of a door opening pulled jinx out of her light slumber. she gripped her pistol tightly as she looked down, trying to see who just walked into the office. just as she was about to jump down, a voice pulled her out of her thoughts.

"it's just me jinx. theirem told me you came in upset..wanna talk about it?" silco asked as he sat at his desk and grabbed his cigar from the ashtray. he put the cigar up to his lips and grabbed his lighter, starting to light it when a thump was hear in front of him.

silco looked up seeing jinx sitting on his desk with her head buried in her knees. she thought of where to start before she let it a light huff and looked at silco.

"i went to the arcade..and i saw her." jinx spoke quietly as she let her eyes scan the office. she furrowed her brows as she thought back to the interaction, her eyes flashing almost a brighter shade of pink.

silco reached up and caressed her cheek. "remember what i told you. she isn't coming back here for you, she's only here for work." he spoke softly.

"work?" jinx questioned as she moved closer, resting her head against silco's. she huffed, her bangs jolting with the sudden gust of air that left her lips. silco hummed as he took a drag from his cigar before exhaling the smoke.

"she's an enforcer. you remember markus? he informed me that vi is the newest enforcer and is currently assisting the kiramman's daughter in a mission regarding shimmer."

jinx's eyes hardened as she let out a scoff. "oh cupcake~" she said in a sinister voice. she glanced at silco and hummed. "so they know about shimmer?" she questioned.

silco hummed as he reached into the drawer of his desk and pulled out a syringe and a small vial. he filled the syringe with the liquid in the vial, then handed it to jinx.

"they know the basics of shimmer." silco said as he laid back in his chair. jinx leaned forward as she held the syringe just above silco's eyes. she hummed, slowly pushing the syringe down so the liquid seeped into silco's eye.

"do they know about what shimmer does to people?" jinx asked as she set the syringe down and tapped the desk as if it were a drum set.

silco hummed as he nodded. "i have a meeting with markus later tonight. he should be giving me intel into what happened with the kiramman and vi if you wanna stay in and listen."

jinx thought about the proposal and hummed, standing up on the desk. "i'll get back to you on that. i have..some work i need to do!" she said with a smile before she practically disappeared.

silco let out a sigh as he turned around, looking out the window. he watched as a blur of blue whizzed down the pathway outside of the last drop. he shook his head, a slight smile on his face.

"what am i going to do with her?" he thought aloud.

jinx hummed as she walked along the streets of piltover. she looked around at all the buildings, a sinister smile coming to her face as she thought about all the things she could steal from inside.

she stifled her laughter as to not draw attention to herself. she grunted as she bumped into someone. she wanted to so badly pull out her pistol and blow the persons brains out but she knew if she did she'd never hear the end of it from silco.

instead jinx grumbled and kept on walking, keeping her head down. just as she was nearly away from who she bumped into, she felt a hand grip her arm and pull her into an alleyway.

once in the alley, jinx pulled out her pistol and pressed the barrel against the persons temple. "get you're fucking-"

"pow-pow.."

jinx glared at vi before stomping on her foot causing vi to let go of her arm. jin grumbled and roughly pushed her finger through the bandage on vi's shoulder, causing the pink haired girl to let out a groan.

"get the fuck off of me you fucking traitor." jinx spat as she backed away, walking off down the alley.

"powder-"

"I SAID MY NAME IS JINX!" she screamed as she came back and glared at vi. "now get that through your thick fucking head violet!"

jinx grunted as she fell to the ground, her gun clattering on the ground and sliding off into the darkness. she looked up with wide eyes as she held her cheek, tears spilling down her face.

vi panted as she clenched her fist, staring down at jinx. "don't ever say that name again."

jinx sniffled as her eyes widened, memories of when vi strikes her after vander's death replaying in her mind. "vi.." she spoke barely above a whisper, her words hard to decipher from the slight sobs.

vi widened her eyes as she glanced at her wrapped fists, noticing the blood on her knuckles. "powder..i'm sorry.." she spoke as she dropped to her knees and wrapped her arms around her sister.

jinx hugged vi back slowly, her hands reaching up and holding her shoulders. she sniffled as she listened to vi apologize over and over. jinx rolled her eyes slightly as she reached up and grabbed a fistful of vi's hair, yanking her head back while she grabbed a syringe filled with pinkish purple liquid out of her holster. just as quickly as she yanked vi's hair, jinx placed the syringe against her sisters neck and smirked.

"how many times do i have to tell you, powder's dead. she fell down a well." jinx said as she giggled. "now tell me violet, when we're you going to tell me you're an enforcer? after you got back your precious little sister?" she asked, cocking a brow.

vi grunted as she looked at jinx. she huffed, looking away not being able to stare into the blue haired girls eyes for much longer. she grunted softly, feeling the end of the syringe dig deeper, on the verge of breaking the skin.

"jinx.." vi whispered softly before her eyes widened.

"what's going on over there?" the sound of an enforcers voice was heard as they stepped closer to the entrance of the alley. "i could've swore i heard yelling.." they spoke to themselves as they held their rifle, ready to take aim.

jinx sucked her teeth as she glanced in the direction of the enforcer coming their way. "looks like you just got your ass saved." she snapped at vi before putting the syringe away and letting go of vi just before she disappeared into the darkness.
