For context, this is an idea -Vksel- created and we essentially turned it into a story/roleplay. The idea was that Ink and Error got turned into children (about 4 years old) and the other two Stars and Nightmare's gang have to watch them. They don't remember their adult lives.
When Ink regressed, he regained a Soul (for reasons I'm too tired to explain at the moment), but it had issues since Ink didn't have one as an adult. He got pretty sick because its regulation between emotions, magic, and body was rather poor and terribly imbalanced. After a long week in the hospital to help it regulate (and keep him from getting sicker), Ink ends up bringing home Toffee, a St. Bernard. Since Ink's Soul is still... problematic, and because Ink's emotions exacerbate the less-than-optimal state of his Soul, Toffee has to keep him in check. Ink and Error love her to death.
On the bottom left is just a fluffy little drawing where the kids are napping on Toffee, and the upper right is Toffee trying to comfort Ink while he's sitting still and waiting for his Soul to get everything back in sync.
