???'s POV
"Alright class, there will be a noble joining the class today! Make sure that you all treat her with respect."
A girl with purple hair walked to the front of the class; the feathers of her garment fluttering behind her. Her dark amethyst eyes, boasting a sharp, unwavering gaze. Her entire appearance screamed cold and cool, yet the room warmed with her entrance. It was only when she reached the front of the class that I realized that I had stopped breathing.
"Greetings, my name is Keqing. I'm looking forward to training with you all. I am from..." A monotone voice, that's how she spoke. When I realized that she was just going to go on about her lineage. I stopped tuning into her introduction. My eyes wander off to the side as I stare at Wuwang hill. I wish I could play there right now. Maybe I should ask H-
"The trainee in the back! Are you listening?" I snap my attention back to my instructor. He was staring daggers into me. I immediately get up from the ground and stand at attention. "You will be helping Lady Keqing fit into our training regime. Make sure that you leave nothing out." Teacher said while walking towards me.
He places his hand on my shoulder as he whispers, "Don't embarrass me in front of Lady Keqing again. You got that?" I nodded slightly which he accepted as he returned to the front of the class.
Lady Keqing took the position to my left as the class began the warmups. I didn't want Teacher to get mad at me again so I formally greet Her.
"Aspect of Contracts, Lady Keqing, I greet you." I didn't give my name since it wasn't proper for a commoner to give their name to a noble without their permission.
"Please drop the formalities, they are unnecessary."
I was dumfounded. What did the lady just say?
I looked up to see that her facial expression remained the same, yet her tone has changed. I apologized to her, hoping that I hadn't done anything wrong.
"Be at ease, I don't really enjoy all these formal greetings anyways. You don't have to use the noble's greeting for me any longer."
With that, I finally raised my head to meet her. When I didn't reply, Lady Keqing asked me to show her the warmups before I got scolded again.
Once all the warmups, and lessons were done. I was about to go home when she stopped me again.
"Aspect of Cont-"
"Stop." That's all she said. I realized that I had made another mistake so I begged for forgiveness. She told me it was fine that titles don't matter as we all act for the greater being of Liyue. She even asked me to drop the "lady" title, which after 3 tries, she gave up. After our conversation, I finally started to go home when she stopped me again.
"I forgot to ask for your name" A noble wanted the name of a trainee? I told her that it wasn't right for a composer to give their name which she immediately shut down. I attempted to tell her my name, but something about it still felt wrong inside of me.
"What's your name?" She finally asked again. Snapping me out of my state of confusion.
"Feng, The name's Feng"
