CHAPTER 8

Pinky who passed through his room sees this & thinks what I prayed for two years ago was that my son achieves whatever he wishes & for Anika to succeed. God listened & granted her wish & now Anika is successful entrepreneur. She knows all about her as she is still in contact with her. She is happy for her.

Then she looks towards Shivaay & sighs. (In mind) I never expected that Shivaay would almost destroy himself in the process of achieving everything.

She still remembers the day when everything got revealed. It was one month after Shitia marriage that Tia pregnancy news came. Pinky was happy like all other members of the house but nobody expected Shivaay to declare that the child cannot be his & he did not share any relationship with Tia. They are husband & wife only in name.

Tia told that Shivaay do not remember but he was drunk & they were intimate. Shivaay refused to believe her & demanded DNA test done. The result as expected resulted in +ve & hence child proved to be Shivaay's. But Shivaay still refused to accept it & left to London shortly on the pretext of business.

Tia never expected Shivaay to react like this & she also left the house. Nobody Knew what to do.

After 15 Days, when Shivaay came back, he brought back all the evidences against the kapoors & revealed that Tia was already married & her husband was none other than Dushyant who pretended to be her brother- Robin all this while & Tia was pregnant with his baby. That Swetlana was also Tia's sister & it was all their mother planning to ruin the Oberoi's for she believes that her husband killed himself because of Oberoi's.

What nobody expected was for Kapoors sister to reveal to the media about Tej's affair with Swetlana & about Shivaay poor judgement of character in such a distorted way that the oberoi name was sullened all over India . That was the toughest time for all family as their business plummeted , stocks price fell & Shivaay was emotionally unbalanced. Nobody knew that why Shivaay was too emotionally weak is it because of Tia's betrayal or something else? One thing Pinky knew is that she lost her son that day & Shivaay lost himself in the business again. His whole focus is only on business. There are rare any o'bro moment now that both the other brothers have their wives to accompany them.

Jethani ji left bhaisaab after the media scandal, as it was difficult for her to stand as proud Jhanvi singh oberoi when whole world came to know just how hollow the title actually is. No one ever thought that she would take a stand & declare to mummy ji that instead of always advicing Daughter in law's of this house she should first try to make her own son understand the importance of marriage. After that she took out divorce papers & asked bhaisaab to sign them & send it to her old place. Now, she again joined NGOs to help other victims. Om has never been so proud of his mother that he was on that day.

Sometimes 1 needs a push over, needs to fall ,for him to learn to stand on its own. May be Jhanvi needed this push to stand on her own & raise her voice against the injustice she had been subjected to all this while.
