The Darkness

Down in the darkness way down deep,

Did you honestly think that through this I could sleep?

The pain you wrought on me is blazing so hot,

Why me? I think you should just rot.

Laying here in a heap of pain, I stare up.

Up to the clouds and beyond.

Higher, and far away from here.

Pain flows like the wind, water, air.

I drift in it's sea,

Sail in it's wind,

Float in it's breeze.

I drift away, back down deep.

And as black overtakes me,

I mercifully sleep.
