~3rd Person P.O.V~
"Hahaha , it's been a long time Minato" Jiraiya said after taking a sip of tea Kushina made
"Yes , it's really been a long time . Naruto was just a baby since you last saw him" Minato answered
"Mom , is he really that strong?" Naruto whispered in Kushina's ear as the whole family sat in the dining
Kushina smiled awkwardly after hearing her son's statement
"Oww, mom stop!!!" Naruto whined as Kushina pulled his ear
Minato and Jiraiya stared at the mother and son duo blinking their eyes with a sweatdrop
Jiraiya sweatdropped "Minato , what do you think about the Chunin exams?"
"At first I only thought that I will inspect the skills of the Genins myself and give the Chunin ranks" Minato answered
"But I think the exams should be necessary but I have a bad feeling about something.." Jiraiya said as he had goosebumps in his skin
• Somewhere in the future •
An old man suddenly sneezed loudly making all the people in the streets look at him
"Why do I feel so brilliant all of a sudden" he asked himself as he scratched his head
• Back to the present •
" Is their something bothering you master Jiraiya?" Kushina asked
Jiraiya shrugged his shoulders "Not really. It was just a hunch"
•Timeskip to the next day
~ 3rd Person P.O.V ~
It's been a chilly day in Konoha today . Winter is almost near , fellow Shinobis all of them were out for missions just like that Sasuke had just reached the Konoha gate after an 'A' rank mission
As Sasuke entered he was stopped by Izumo and Kotetsu
Sasuke eyed them "Chill out kid we have a letter for you" Izumo handed the letter to Sasuke
Sasuke bowed "Thanks" with that he left for the Hokage's tower
As he entered the Hokage's room he was wished by Minato and Jiraiya with smiling faces towards him
"Good to see you this soon Sasuke"
"Uhh...is something wrong?" Sasuke asked
Minato and Jiraiya sweatdropped at his response "Yeah so going to the main topic , me and master Jiraiya were talking about the Chunin exams to
be held pretty soon" Minato completed
~Sasuke's P.O.V~
The Chunin exams huh. In that case Naruto must start training with master Jiraiya even before the exams start , waiting for the 2nd round and be trained will be a lot of work .
"So what about it?" I asked
"We were thinking of making you on of the volunteers" Jiraiya said
"If..this actually happens then I'll be able to keep a close eye on team 7 during the exam . Orochimaru must've already been received by Kabuto" I thought
"So do you agree with being one of the volunteers?" Minato asked with a raised eyebrow
"Sure , I don't see any problem in that " I replied
~Time skip to night~
Slow and the chilly breeze brushed her skin as her silky hair moved along the wind just busy in her thoughts untill she noticed a letter fall beside her
