Dating with someone that has highest role isn't easy if we don't have the same role of theirs. Seeing them stressing out over works and had to take care of their people from the enemy is hard. They can't do it all by themselves and that's why assitants and other roles existed in the system.

Dream, Empire of Sun and for Nightmare, Empire of Moon. Both of them are sibling yet haven't reunited until these days. Countless battle been going on, Dream with her assistants had to retreat and the victory goes to Nightmare. He's happy when he won but not for Killer, the sympathy feeling for Dream.

And tonight is the last day for the year of 2021, him and Dream had been planning to hang out at their secret place. Killer decided to bring a special gift for her, a golden necklace suit for someone like her.

Killer walk out of the bushes and perked up to see a skeleton that wears white, gold and black clothes, knowing it's Dream. He quietly approach to Dream and cover her eyes with his hands. Playing a little game on her. Dream yelped and place her hand on his hands then softly giggle in return as she knew the drill

"Guess who?" Killer asked with a silly grin. Dream playfully hummed while thinking and rub her fingers on his rough hand, "Of course it's Killer!" She said with a loud cherish tone and her cheek seem to be puffed up.

"How are you Kills? Is there anything bother you in the castle?" Dream questioned as she hug her knees to her chest and wait for Killer's answer as he think. "Well, the two idiots been making a mess lately in the castle and Nightmare didn't care as much as before."

He scratched back of his skull with his shoulder move up and down. "How about Nightmare? How is he?" She chuckle a bit at Killer response then ask again, "For him, he's doing good." He replied and smiled, secretly searching the gift necklace box so he could give it to Dream.

Dream hummed and look to the lovely night sky, embracing the moment they had as she lean on Killer's shoulder, making his face lit up with red hue. She realized he's nervous and shakened up a little bit, "What's wrong Kills? Are you okay? Are you feeling sick?" She asked innocently and touch his face, feeling his face heating up more.

He grab her wrist then switch to holding her hand and place it down on his lap. "Dream, I brought a special gift for you. I'm sorry if it isn't that pretty." He slow his voice down at the last words since he's afraid that she doesn't like the gift at all. He gave the box to Dream as Dream open it and both of her eyelights formed into star shape when she saw the necklace.

She gasped to see such a pretty necklace like this, "Oh Heavens! This necklace is the prettiest necklace I have ever seen!" She exclaimed in surprise as she lift it up to the sky. Killer felt relieve to see her liking and happy with the necklace he bought. He went behind Dream to help her wear the necklace.

"Alright done." Killer said with a brightful smile as he wrap his arms around his partner's waist and rest on Dream's shoulder. She blushed in return and went on with it after feeling comfortable in the position. "The firework should be starting in 5 minutes and we're going to enter 2022." He gave a smooch on her cheek with a light chuckle, seeing her blushing more.

"T-That's great.." Dream stuttered and tilt her skull to the opposite direction of Killer, avoiding an eye contact from him to prevent her blushing again. "You're beautiful Dream." Killer complimented as he nuzzle onto her neck, sniffing at the caramel scent.

His compliment made her explode in embarrassment, she appreciate it but she wasn't ready for that. At this moment, her face are bright as sun and Killer only stare at the moon that lit up the night. He check his watch and they're 1 minute away from watching the firework to welcome the year of 2022.

"Are you ready Darling?" He look at Dream after asking her, she only nods in return and watch the sky. Preparing for the firework. Killer glance back to his watch and it's 12 AM, the firework began to lit up the dark sky. Dream clapped in excitement as she saw brightful colors lighting up the sky.

It amazes Killer that it never gets bored to see a firework show when they're welcoming new Year. Nevertheless, they spend their time staying at their spot until the firework show finished. They shared a kiss and smile then back to watching the firework.
