I pulled up my SUV near my garage where I used to practice with my band I’m really going to miss these guys , but thing had to be done when it should be done, like the moment you know that you have to leave the home to actually grow up. This was that moment for me.

Me, Luke, Miles and Louis spend half of our junior year singing in my garage, senior year we still spend a lot of time in the garage half of them were wasted on meaningless sex. I got out of the car followed by Louis. I took one last look at the garage there wasn’t a house to go with it or even a shop it was just a garage.

“Yo Z you’re really leaving” I was greeted by Miles warm hug, though she was girl, she liked to be dressed up like a man for most part of it, when her parents forbid her to wear men clothes she borrowed some of mine and Louis on one condition though, she had to do the background vocals. Well Miles had a passion for men clothes and singing so she gladly accepted.

“Yeah, I think I am Miles” I brushed my fingers through my perfectly spiked raven hair.

“You need to get a shave, and wipe that rockstar look off your face” that’s true I haven’t shaven my beard for the past two months, and if I shave my beard I’d look like all those kids who attend boarding school.

“And you should start growing your hair” she liked to keep her hair short, and it really suits her.

“You’re really leaving, huh” there he was Luke, we came a long way from freshmen year where we found Luke curled up near the school locker with his guitar held close to his chest beaten up by seniors and wounded badly.

“Group hug, people” we locked our arms with each other. I was crushed between Miles and Louis.

High school was fun though I never got to spend a lot of time with these guys because I and Louis were already in junior year when Luke was a freshmen, and Miles was a sophomore. I and Louis did everything together right from kinder garden, we were captains of the basketball team .Period. We both were the lead singers of the dimension.

“We just want you to know that we’ll always love you guys. Luke, you came a long way from being bullied and you found a way to stand up for yourself” Louis’ words overwhelmed Luke.

“Miles, you came a long way from being a girl” Miles hit my arm “You have learned to stand up for yourself, and being daddy’s little girl and I want you to know that I have four sisters Wahliya, Doniya, Safaa and you. You’re going to reach new heights in life and meet a nice guy and if he breaks your heart call me” her eyes were welled up with tears “Awww, come here baby girl”

“Yo Luke what are you crying for” Luke snuggled into Lou’s shoulder “That was the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard”

“That wasn’t meant for you man” he only cried harder at my words.

“I know that’s what hurts me more”

                                                                         …………………><………………...

“Aren’t you gonna visit your parents” Lou’s words triggered something in me. I’d love to visit my sisters but the constant reminder of what my parents hid from me hurt me more.

The only reason why I’m leaving this place is because one of my friends is in middle of an album crisis and he want me to the last piece for some musical. I can’t say no to him besides I thought of this a one way ticket to get out of this hell, if I stayed here any longer my dad would want me to join his business.

“No, doubt they’ll understand it anyways” I looked out the window and it was shining brightly what do I accept it’s summer. Lou pulled the car near the airport.

I got in the plane unfortunately I was in a business class while Lou was in the people class; I sat near a blondie who was sitting in my seat.

“Excuse me, love, I would really appreciate it if you move to your seat” she eyed me from top to bottom like I’m some prey.

“British” I nodded. She moved a seat and plugged her earphones again “You should listen to these guys their really good” I peeked at her iPod which says ‘Five second’ it was my song, Louis did the base and Miles did the background vocals. Luke was on the guitars.

“I never made you out to be the girl who listens to country music” I slipped on my blinds, and rested my eyes against the seat.

“Wait, you’ve listened to these guys” though I can’t see, it was pretty obvious that she was surprised.

“I am one of those guys, darling”

“No freaking way” she pulled my blinds up “I just love these guys, let me guess..um.. you’re Louis” I pouted

“No” she rubbed her nose still thinking “Luke…oh…oh…no freaking way…you’re-

“Zayn Malik” I extended my arm but I guess she was too surprised to notice my gesture. I snapped my fingers to bring her back to reality.

“Sorry..sorry…..Anna” I raised a brow “Just Anna”

                                                            ……….………><……………….

“Lou” I ran towards Louis who was waiting outside the airport

“Zayn, I’ve been waiting for an hour, man” he looked at me and back to his phone.

“Sorry, I just got held in some business” he gave me one of those looks that could burn a person to death.

Louis was a very rational person he had everything figured out and if something doesn’t go according to plan it would be my fault. He wasn’t always like this though I and Louis were pretty cool in high school, Lou was so cool that even our principle drooled over him for a month or two until she realized that he wasn’t worth it. We were like the big shots in our school we were in every club in our school, we were even in the labor club.

“What business did you-

“Hey Zayn” I turned around only to find Anna leaning against a lamp post “Where are you going to stay in New York”

“We haven’t figured out yet” I gave her my best smile that would make every girl weak on the knee.

“Well, I’ve call you” she winked at me, she didn’t bother to wipe her smudged lipstick, her hair was distorted and her first two buttons were out of place and I’m pretty sure Louis noticed it. She winked before she walked off.

“Seriously, since when do you give your number to girls after making out with them” Louis glared at me, if looks could kill I would have been dead by now “Aww, Zayn’s getting sweet” he bust out into laughter and I joined him “Why are you laughing”

“It wasn’t my number I gave her, mate” Louis face became pale.

“Zayn, buddy, you’re a dead man now” he chased my in the streets of New York.

I dashed into many people on my way and finally and finally I got into the subway train Lou ran as fast as he could I held out my arm to him, he tried with all his strength but he failed “Don’t worry, I’ll find you wherever you go buddy”

“Oh, drama queen” I got down from the train and walked toward him “We might as well catch the next train”

“Best buddies” he was still catching his breath.

“Until death”

                                                                 …………………………><………………………

I know this chapter was all about friendship and stuff but everything would make sense eventually. Next chapter is the grand meet. Yay!

Louis and Zayn are good friends in real life too. Evidence prove that when Zayn's uncle died Louis held his hand until he reached the airport

Peace.
