Hello everyone! Thank you so much for taking the time to click on this book. If you don't know already I am Jasmine and I am a teen writer. Some of you may know that in the past I've mainly written fanfiction. I started doing this in February, almost a year ago, on harrypotterfanfiction.com, under the pen name just_as_sane_as_i_am. The site, as you also may know, has shut down, but I made so many new friends there and I found out that being a writer is something I love and something I definitely might want to do in the future!
What you're about to read is my first non-fanfic work on Wattpad, even though I have written loads of short stories and things like that here and there. Which are probably best to be kept to myself. I can't remember exactly when I came up with this book's idea but the world literally just, you know, came into my head and the characters came along and walked into it just like that. You may have seen the genre is dystopian/fantasy but honestly I can't really fit it that perfectly into a genre. So I guess it may be hard for you to tell if you'll like this book or not but I've certainly enjoyed writing it myself. And reading through the first few chapters I've written I think it's a bit better than my fics and I think somehow I've improved my writing skill!
I hope you enjoy this story, because I enjoy developing this world. Right now as I am writing this I have three chapters done. They are not fully perfect yet but after I get all the chapters up I'll probably redraft and edit the book, which means I might take it down for a bit. But after that it will be done!!
