Chapter Two - Accidents, Accents, & Promises
~*~
(Niall's P.O.V.)
I checked the time and it was almost 11. I remembered that we had a photo shoot today at 12. I quickly got up and opened the door.
I heard a light gasp and a thud. I looked over and saw a girl with light brown curly hair.
"Shiiiiiii...!" she hissed as she scrambled to pick up her phone.
Realization hit me. I realized that I almost hit her and caused her to fall and I also might have almost cracked her screen.
I frantically apologized, "Oh my god, I am so sorry, miss! I wasn't paying attention. Are you okay?"
She looked up at me, her hazel eyes met my Ray Ban sunglasses. Her eyes had a confused look, but shocked at the same time.
Oh, please don't tell me she recognized who I am...
She picked her phone up and sighed a breath of relief, seeing as there were no scratches. She slipped it into her back pocket and turned towards me.
"That's alright, I wasn't paying attention either. I'm alright, I just fell from shock of almost getting slammed by a door and possibly pay a lovely visit to the ER." she smiled and chuckled.
I laughed and said, "Well, that's great. I didn't cause any cracks to your phone, did I?"
"No, you didn't. Don't worry." she replied.
She glanced in the Starbucks window and smiled. "Well, we should part ways because I don't think either of us are very fond of standing out in the cold weather of London. But, it was very nice meeting you, I suppose. As nice as it can get when you almost get hit by a door by a stranger."
"Again, really sorry about that..."
She smiled and nodded at me before going into the Starbucks building. She went over to the beach blonde girl's table.
"Lily...." I heard her shout before the door closed.

(Lilliana's P.O.V.)
I smiled at the blonde boy and made my way into the warm Starbucks and sat down with the beach blonde girl I call my best friend.
"Lilliana!" she shouted.
"Teagan!" I shouted back at her.
"So what happened with the mysterious blondie there?" she leaned in over the table.
"He almost hit me with the door and almost made me crack my phone." I answered, matter-of-factly.
"Oh." she said, disappointment lacing her voice.
"Why do you seem so disappointed?"
"Well... I just thought... You know... That maybe..." she mumbled, looking down awkwardly.
"Tea, I've told you about a million times, I'm not looking for a relationship anytime soon. Especially not after what happened with... you know... him." I quietly said, my voice getting softer with each word I spoke.
"You can't let one guy ruin love for you, Lilliana. Forget him, he's a douche and doesn't deserve you anymore. I know, it still hurts, but just... try. Okay? Promise me."
"Okay... I promise." I smiled at her. I was so lucky to have a best friend like her.
*Ding*
I took out my phone and looked at the lock screen. I got a reminder that it was almost time to go to the photo shoot I had today for this band. One Direction. Teagan was obsessed with them. I would always be hearing her rant about the over the top 'Larry' shippers and her doing weird things for their birthdays or whatever. It was crazy.
"Hey, Tea, I gotta go to my photo shoot I have today. Wanna come with?" I knew she would love me this. Plus, it'd be hilarious to see her reaction when she meets them.
"Sure. I have no social life when I'm without you anyway." she laughed. "I'd be happy to come."
"Great."
