There is nothing you could compare with the feeling that Louis felt when he looked into Harry's eyes again. "How are you?" Harry asked excited and a bit shy. Louis needed some seconds to catch himself, it was Harry standing in front of him. This time really and it felt like they have never been apart. They were the same, only the clothes changed. "I- I'm great how about you? I mean why are you working? Shouldn't you be home celebrating your birthday?" Harry shrugged casual, making his curls fall across this forehead, he wore them a bit longer than in high school. Still as curly as Louis loved them but now reaching down to his jaw just perfectly to make it seem even sharper than it was anyway.
"I don't, uh... celebrate it anymore."
"What? Why that?" Louis frowned ignoring his racing heart pounding up into his throat. "I don't know, the college stress I guess."
"And it's not the same as it used to be anymore." He added quietly almost whispering. Louis knew he would regret it if he wouldn't do at least something now. Every day of college he wished Harry to be by his side and now, there he was. Real and in colour, smiling the way he always did. It was the same smile Louis fell in love with in high school. "Well if you want... you can call me after your shift and we can hang out or something?" And the youngers smile even grew wider in excitement.
"Sure jus-"
"Harry! Hurry up!" A man that seemed to be Harry's boss called out angrily. "Send me your address." He mouthed on the way back to the counter leaving Louis all alone with his butterflies and a toothy smile.

As Louis woke up it was three in the morning already. He peaked a look through his heavy eyelid seeing Harry looking through his phone before he opened the second one. "It's weird... All these pictures seem so familiar and but they are nameless. It's like I've been there without actually being there. Does that make sense? Am I going crazy?"
"I mean how can I not remember you when you have obviously been such a huge part of my life?" Louis got over to kneel down next to Harry on the bed and took his cold face in his plans. "You are not going crazy. It's just... your concussion or trauma I don't know I'm not a doctor Haz. But I believe," He said in an aspiring tone focusing on Harry's glassy eyes "I know, that you can remember, and I will help you no matter how long it takes okay?" Harry nodded biting his lip to stop it from trampling as he buried his face in Louis' neck.
"Everything is just a huge black...nothing."
"Everything?" Harry pulled back looking at Louis with that look that meant he was thinking really hard. "I remember sieves of my childhood but it's blurred." Louis swallowed sadly overplaying his pain and nodded. A quick gaze over to Harry's phone showed he had been going through old chats of the two of them, including all the messages Louis had sent, all those years hoping to get a reply...nothing. All those 'good nights', when he missed Harry but in exchange got an empty space next to him.
The 'update' messages of things he would have loved to tell Harry, everything he wished to share with the love of his life. Every achievement, every-down phase when he needed his shoulder or when he laughed and wanted to share his happiness with him. He sighed. "Please tell me more of the story."
"Please. I want to remember." Harry added and so Louis continued with a trembling breath.
"After we met again, you actually came over to my dorm. And to be honest I didn't think you would." Harry chuckled. "So we went out and did some crazy things as we used to in our past like not even one day passed where we hadn't been in contact. And we went out more and more often, I fell in love with you all over again, just that I didn't know you felt the same...

"I'm serious Lou, please switch the channel," Harry said now sounding annoyed, they were watching some weird vampire movie. It was boring and if it was about Louis he would have changed channels half an hour ago already, it was just... he loved teasing Harry. "Give me the remote, or-"
