Starlite stares at them boredly before continuing to listen to the Empress while reading her book on magic "....and you'll have your debut next week any questions?" The Empress concludes "yes, why do I have to hold a grand banquet?" Starlite asks
"Your royalty the grander the better and your cousin Roland will escort you" the Empress explains to the lazy fox spirit, "argh! So much responsibility for a simple debut" Starlite mutters softly earning her a knock on her head.
They sit opposite the boys and have tea " how has your Dukedome been doing?" The Empress asks as Starlite tells her all the reports unaware of the three pairs of eyes watching her.
Roland's POV
I met my friends while cousin was entertaining Father and Mother's friends as usual as I pity for the dumb Emperors that she'll trick to expand her business as usual.
"Dude who you thinking of?" My friend the crown prince of the Blood Empire Tristan asks with a cold face since he's always cold "probably his cousin Starlite, I wonder if she has magic" his second friend the crown prince of the Moon Empire Harry says
"Her again? Dude you have to stop thinking about your cousin she might not be your blood but your cousin.." Tristan says with seriousness in his voice "I got it but I'm wondering when she'll escape Mother now " I say lazily.
We spot her walking out with Mother as she puts on a bored face while reading some book on magic "so that's your cousin quite a beauty isn't she?" Harry compliments as I forgot to mention that he is a playboy. Tristan stares at her with a weird expression in his eyes before he looks back.
I notice how confusion passes through his eyes as I use my mana to check his heartbeat that reduces from a fast pace 'dear cousin you are unfortunate to have a mate named Tristan' I chuckle at the thought as I whisper into Harry's ear my discovery.
"But we've already written those letters for the Empress" Harry murmurs in fear of being Tristan rival "what do we have your Time magic for?"I say with a dumb look "I got it but what does she even like?" Harry questions for Tristan to hear him.
"Starlite likes colour purple well she's obsessed with the colour, her favourite flower is violet flame Roses and she likes a peaceful life of simplicity and fun plus she is a fool for cute things" I tell them while looking at Tristan pointedly
Harry goes back in time and appears within 5 seconds with a smile "your a lucky fella Tristan, your mate is a genius in business and excels academically" Harry compliments as i see a flash of pride appearing in the vampires eyes making me smile.
Back to Starlite side
"...and that's how little Bai secured the contract with the dwarves for the Rosemont Dukedome and the Secret Palace, I wonder if its possible for me to avoid meeting my mate?" Starlite concludes with a thoughtful look.
The Empress hits her head again "stupid girl you have to pick a fiancé even if ti's a fake one to avoid those royal foxes forcing you to marry" the Empress explains softly before sipping her tea.
