Starlite curls up in a ball and looks at everything coldly as the servant holding her feels that the fox is obedient and cute. They set off for the Pearl empire but in the carriage after 3 weeks "hello there fox what should I call you?" The Duchess says on the 2nd week of their journey as Starlite is still in cage 'release me you rich brat!'she points at the cage with a frown.

The Duchess releases her as Starlite walks to the fruit platter and eats the fruits since she refused all the food angrily. The Duchess smiles at the cute fox "what's your name fox?" Starlite rolls her eyes and glares at her in disdain shocking the woman

'did that fox just glare at me?' Duchess sighs mentally as Starlite looks at the stars silently as she doesn't see the moon and sighs before she sleeps on a pillow but she feels the carriage stop as the Duke enters inside.

She looks at him coldly and sleeps off after giving them a warning growl. She wakes up the next day to the sight of the Duke patting her head 'Insolent!' She scratches his fingers as a warning before avoiding the blood and going to a water bowl and bathing herself inside and going back to where she slept off sitting with a cold look in her eyes.

Starlite points at her stomach arrogantly "Tony bring some food for the fox" the Duke calls out from their carriage since they have reached the capital city. Sir Tony brings in various meat dishes likely leftovers and gives Starlite 'gross! I don't eat leftovers ! I am a fox not a slave' her face darkens before she flips the plate in disgust and growls.

She goes towards the family of three that are dining together in the carriage and seats infront of a dish and eats it despite the angry family faces 'hmph! Don't serve me leftovers again and I won't disturb your meal' she rejoices internally at their annoyed faces as she eats out of the dishes and remains food for them before sleeping off.

She continues these routine till they reach the Dukedome where she is kept in a study as a beautiful girl comes in with a bratty attitude "Father your back ! I was so worried about everyone, did you get what you wanted" Lilly asks curiously as she eyes Starlite excitedly.

"Meet your new contracted beast, give it a name and feed it your blood" the Duchess instructs seriously as Lilly comes to her and smirks. Starlite rolls her eyes at the arrogant brat "your name is Sugar from now on" Lilly announces as Starlite spits out blood in anger 'WTF?! Little girl I despise you more' Starlite looks at her as she avoids the bloody wound on the girls wrist.

Starlite simply looks away and watches the girl fainting from blood loss making her family and the maids forget her existence. She sneaks out and runs out the mansion and smirks before running in the direction of the mountain but bumps into a tall girl with the normal villainess look.

Starlite face palms at her confusing luck before she jumps until a rock platform 'fuck this luck of mine' she murmurs in her heart.
