Just a babysitter

New beginnings

Toji's pov:

It was Monday again. Toji had also given a lot of thought to what happened on Friday evening, how you had left without saying anything. To be honest, he was a little scared that what if you did not come back. But you hadn't called him that you wouldn't so he seemed relieved. After all Toji was sure that you knew he needed you. That Megumi needed you.

The little guy was giving him harder time this morning since you seemed to take more time getting there. You had Toji's schedule so it was still okay. You had agreed that it is fine if you want to come earlier than just right before he is about to leave. And you have done that.

Y/n pov:

You had thought everything through and you were kind of excited for the new beginnings ahead of you. Your best friend's words echoing in your head. 'You're going to regret it if you don't do your job', they said.

You were finally getting ready to go and heading to your car, just in time too. You wondered if Toji was going to say anything about you arriving later than you usually had. But it should still be fine, you would be there right when he would leave for work. The exchange of words between you two would be minimal though.

After pulling up to Toji's yard you already saw him coming trough the door. "Sorry I'm late!" You shout while getting out of the car. "You're just in time, no worries." He says back to you.

When you got inside, Megumi was sitting on the hallway floor. He looked like he'd been crying. You picked him up, cupping his cheeks and trying to make him smile. Because his smile was the cutest little thing you have ever seen.

You decided to stay in today since it started raining soon after your arrival. The house was filled with stuff to do with Megumi so you were not in trouble trying to entertain him. You two build with his legos, watched his favorite movie, played hide & seek and you read to him when it was his nap time.

You had a busy day with Megumi. Making sure he wasn't bored while you were making dinner for the three of you, was a task. He was in the kitchen with you hanging of your leg. You didn't mind him though, he was so cute.

"When does daddy come home?" The little guy was missing his dad after a long day. "Soon." You simply said. It's a bit surprising how fond of you Megumi had grown, like the things Toji told about his past babysitters weren't true at all.

A normal length chapter today. Sorry this took a while to post. I have some future chapters planned already, look forward to them.
