Chapter 19

Kiah

We arrive in Amsterdam in the afternoon.The entire time my aunt,mother rand uncle stares at me like I'm a ticking time bomb and I am. Angelo told me when we landed that Agostini blew up my office building,my mother's and aunts home and levelled my damn apartment building.He's fucking with the shit I worked hard for and I know it's to draw me out.

We pull up to a private property and I thought it would be heavily guarded by there's only two men at the gate.We drive to the front of the house and a man and woman with blonde hair step outside.He looks slightly older than the woman who's wrapped around his arm.
"Levi." Angelo says as he exits and hugs the man and woman.

They turn to face us and he gives us a warm smile.
"I'm Levi and this is my wife Pamela."he says and the woman pulls us each into a hug and I tense.She's way too friendly.We enter their home and it's beautifully decorated.

"I finished lunch earlier so we can start eating." Pamela says in what I think is a southern accent.

Levi shows us to our rooms and we meet in the dining room.I look at the dishes and it's Chinese? I stare at Pamela confused and Levi laughs.
"My wife takes cooking class and the past month has been Asian dishes. I've been eating it for a month until next months theme of Greek dishes.

We eat in silence and I feel my phone vibrate.It's Julien.He's been calling me non stop.I need a new phone.After our meal Pamela clears the table and brings us dessert, coffee and tea.The entire time Levi stares at her with admiration.She effortlessly moves around the room entertaining us without breaking a sweat.

We've been here for two days now and Pamela and Levi grew on me.At first I wanted to slap Pamela for cooking and cleaning all the time but it makes her happy.It's not me doing it so why hate on others who like to do those things.I realize now why I only saw two guards at Levi's estate.Most of his guards are incognito.They're in hidden spots on the property which gives his enemies the illusion that he's vulnerable.I like his tactic.

I changed my number to an unlisted one with the help of Levi so Julien can't reach me.I'm sure he knows where I'm located but I can't promise I won't shoot him if I see him again.I started taking my pills and it gave me a bit more clarity. As predicted before two dominants can't be together.Julien will never truly let me lead beside him or lead if I have to it's not in him and it's not in me to sit back and look pretty.

We hear an alarm and we run downstairs."What the hell is that?"Aunt Nat asks as she stares at Levi and the rest of us.I'm about to ask for Pamela when she runs down the stairs  with a vest on with two gun holstered to her right and left.Guns are also hstered on each leg and she's holding two duffle bag.

"Babe one of the guard says over thirty mercenaries are approaching.Get your guns." She says and Levi leaves the room."In the duffle bag are vests and guns strap up.We have approximately five minutes before they get to our front door." I stare at her surprised this  is the same woman who was cooking,cleaning and making pastries while watching soap operas.

We hear gunfire in the distance and I start strapping up.Levi returns and he has twice as much weapons.
"My love I was going to gift you for this next month but I thought you could test it out now." He says handing her a pink gun.

"Babe an M4 Carbine" she says blushing before kissing him.They are definitely a unique couple."I'll take the top guys. They most like will enter through the front get ready to shoot and kill at most I need one man to ask questions." Pamela instructs and Levi nods looking like a proud husband.

We get into position and the door is blown of the hinges.Pamela starts firing from upstairs.I fire taking out two of the men as we hear something it the floor releasing black smoke.Fuck it's a smoke bomb.I cough as my eyes burn.I hear someone running and I can't see who in the chaos.

"Take this" I hearLevi's voice before i see a mask getting thrown in my direction.I move further inside the house as more men charge inside.I don't know if the six of us can take out thirty men but I refuse to die here today.I duck as I make my way through the kitchen and five men are behind me.I lift my head to fire but they see me.Fuck.I cover my head avoiding the bullets. I calm my breath and look around the kitchen.I see the weird glass art Levi has in the ceiling and shoot for it.I peak up and the men stare confused at why I'm shooting up top.In seconds the sculpture made of Murano glass falls on the men.I take the opportunity and shoot each men.I hear a scream and run out the room.

I stop when I see the scream is from Pamela.But she's screaming and laughing as she stabs the man repeatedly.The gunfire ceases and I turn and point my gun as I hear footsteps.But it's my mother,aunt Angelo ,Levi and a few guards that are still alive.
"Love?" Levi says and Pamela looks up and smiles.
"Babe I think I went overboard." She says as she stands and wraps her arm around her husband who kisses her forehead.

We look around the now destroyed home and Levi sighs."Well I was planning on moving anyway."
Levi calls to his guard to get the cars ready and drag the bodies inside to torch the house.

"We'll leave for my safe house but we still need to be alert.We have one wounded man and we can interrogate him after."Levi says as we leave.

I grab what I need as I think.Agostini needs to be stopped and so far Julien hasn't proven shit.I feel my anger growing as we make the five hour drive to Levi's safe house.Pamela cooks dinner and floats around the kitchen.She's nothing like the woman I saw earlier.

"Now that we're filled. Lets talk business.Angelo what was the proposal."Levi says and I stare at him surprised.Angelo shakes his head and looks to my mother

"Baby." My mother stares at me " We need to make a move and get shit done.We can't keep running while making other people figure shit out." My mother says and I look around the room and I see that my aunt and uncle are on board.

"We need to bring back the Vitale Mafia but we all lead." I tell them because it will piss Agostini off and pull him out of hiding.I was starting to play with the idea even though I refused at first .After seeing how little men like Julien cared to here what I thoughy I now know I need to shake shit up.
