Chapter 23

Natasha

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Jenelle asks as I strap weapons to my body.I tell her I'm sure again.They don't like the idea of the meeting place.Ivan chose a presidential suit on the top floor of a hotel.The problem is there's one exit and the room is on the 19th floor.We know Ivan is sneaky and doesn't fight his own battles so we don't know what to expect.But I did my own research on the building.Ivan the pervert requested I wear a red dress he mailed to one of our associates.I through the box in the trash and dress in black skinny jeans and a t-shirt with boots and a leather jacket.I strategically place knives on my body.Even though guns are easier I've always preferred using knives.

Jenelle stares at me the entire time I'm getting dressed.I finally told her how I know Ivan which lead to me telling her what happened while I was with Guillermo.Since then she's been hovering and feeling guilty for what happened.The door opens after a knock and Angelo, Henri,Kiah and Matthieu enters my room.I sigh when I see Henri.He's determined even though I tell him I don't sleep with clients but he tells me he wants more than just sex.

I glance at Matthieu who is successfully breaking down Jenelle's barriers but I can tell she doesn't mind.Angelo goes over the plan with us.
"Ivan is sneaky as fuck.There is a chance people are posing as guests and staff.We'll have some people in the lobby and the floor below his room.The pin I gave you earlier hidden in your bun will let us hear everything." He tells me.There's also a tracker in the heal of my boots.

I walk to the garage and they follow me to my car.
"Aunt Nat good luck." Kiah says and I stare at the woman I still call munchkin.She's stepping into her role easily.Jenelle still being dramatic pulls me into a hug making me smile.I enter the car and they turn to leave but Henri stops and knocks on my window.
"Nat don't get hurt." He says and brushes a thumb over my cheek.I smile at the man that looks scary to others but he's just a big teddy bear.

Thirty minutes later I pull up to the expensive hotel.I check my surrounding's and can already tell two men that look out of place.The valet takes my keys and I walk into the lobby.I look around making sure not to make eye contact with our men.
"Come with me." A man walks up behind me and points a gun in my back.I roll my eyes and follow him to the elevator.I glance at his reflection in the elevator doors and he looks weak.

"I can see why Ivan is obsessed." He says with his lips touching my ear.

I slam my elbow into his side and slam my healed boot on his toe.He howls in pain and I turn to knee him in his dick making him fall to the floor and take his gun.The elevator dings and the door opens to three men pointing their guns at me telling me to drop the weapon.I sigh and drop the gun and they pull me out the elevator.

The pat me down taking my cell and the weapons that I made visible.After they're sure I'm clear they speak into a headset and the door opens.
"Ivan." I say in disgust but he smiles.
He opens the door wider and I see one guard placed inside the extravagant room.

"Natasha you still look lovely." He says as he leers at me from head to toe.

"Ivan I see you put on a few pounds and got hair plugs." I say to him and he turns red.He did gain weight and whoever did his hair should be fired.

He stomps over to me and grabs my arm in a painful grip and pulls me to him." Still a little mouthy bitch.If Guillermo would have given you to me you would be more obedient but the bastard rotting in hell didn't want anyone touching his woman." He says in anger as he licks my cheek.I clench my fist wanting to kill him now but I need the information first.

I pull out of his grip and glare at him "Ivan you're seeing me as requested now tell me where Agostini is." He eyes me and the bulking guard steps forward

"First I deserve to get a taste of what I longed for all these years " he says as he gropes himself.I gag and tell him not a chance in hell.

"Do you not have any shame.I kicked your ass years ago and you're still trying to fuck me." I say amused and the guard snickers. Ivan glares at him shutting him up.He tells his guard to get me and I prepare to fight.The guard looks amused as he removes his jacket.The man towers above me and swings but I duck but I missed his other fist coming to my left and his punch connects to my side.The force sends me to the floor.Fuck! He walks up to me and I kick him in the knee causing him to fall and he grabs my leg.I reach into the side of my boot and remove my dagger stabbing him in his hand.He removes it and I take advantage and jump on him and stab him in  his neck three times before he throws me off his body.

He holds his neck and looks at his bloody hand before stomping towards me and I prepare to attack again.Before he can get to me two shots are fired.I turn to see Ivan holding a gun and the man falls to the floor.Ivan shot him twice in the chest.
"Good for nothing.Good help is hard to find these days." Ivan says then points the gun at me.

"Nat you're going to make me kill you and I don't want to yet." He says looking annoyed

"Tell me where Agostini is and I'll do whatever you want." I tell him as I remove my shirt.He licks his lip and I mentally role my eyes at how dumb the man is thinking I would let him touch me.

He laughs "Well since you won't be leaving here alive.Agostini is with the Salazar's." He laughs. We knew there would be a chance of spies but the Salazar's played their role well.His laugh is cut off by the sound of gunfire.
"I knew you would have people that's why I have more men." We hear more gunfire from outside the door and Ivan phone rings."No" he says as his face pales.
"He won't get me alive." He screams into the phone.Ivan steps to me and points his gun.

"Plans change you'll be my hostage.I'll offer you to Agostini and make a deal." He says panicked and sweating bullets.I stand and put my shirt on before elbowing him in the nose and taking his gun.He stares at me in shocked as the door is kicked open.Fuck.
I shoot Ivan in his head because I'm the one who deserves to kill him but I regret not being able to torture his ass slowly for the women he killed

The men start to fire and I run further into the room heading for the bedroom.I hear heavy footsteps and I slam the door locking it and quickly moving furniture against it to buy time.I open the closet door looking up at the hatch.While looking at the building plan of the hotel. I saw that there were secret compartments in the ceiling and that they never sealed.I try to reach for the latch. Fuck I'm too short.

I look around the room and see his luggage and stack them giving me the height I need to get inside the shaft.Just as the door breaks I close the compartment I hear movements below me as I quietly make my way through the dusty passage.I turn when I hear a bang.They found the door.
"She's in the ceiling." Someone yells and I crawl faster avoiding the bullets.I reach above the hallway and see the dead body's of Ivan guards.I take a deep breath before slamming my foot down gainst the ventilation shaft cover.

I fall hard and grab the dead men's discarded gun and cell.I fire as four men run towards the front as I press the elevator button.Hurry up!! I chant as I fire back.I hear the ding and slide inside.I dial Kiah and she tells me to not go to the lobby it's a blood bath.I think quickly about the layout of the hotel.

"Tell any available men to meet me on the third floor." I tell her knowing that the men are probably watching where the elevator stops.That floor has multiple emergency exits but my focus is on one door. The elevator dings and I glance outside.The floor is clear for now and I turn when I hear footsteps.I calm when I see it's Levi's men.
"Point your guns at the second door." I tell them.That door is the only emergency exit stairs leading from the top floor.That's the only door the men can exit.As the four men run out we fire hitting all of them.

The cell rings and it's Kiah.She tells me it's all clear and that Salazar's men were already arriving when Ivan mentioned them in the audio.I follow the men to the lobby and see body's everywher eand some are civilians.Jenelle,Kiah and Angelo are strapped with their vests and checking if any of the men are still alive.They notice me and walk over to check if I'm okay. Henri, Matthieu, Frederic and Julien walk in after

"We have Andres Salazar and his family." Julien says.

Kiah looks unhinged as she tells them to take her to the family.
