In a faraway icy and snow covered land, the People of the Winter Tribe were in a festive spirit. Winter time is here and that means festivals and celebrations. They celebrate the winter season because they believe winter is the best season. Decorations were everywhere, including balloons, tables, food, and music, the People of the Winter Tribe celebrated winter time with scrutiny, and so they start all the preparations at dawn, not before admiring the sunrise.
Their land had mountains, rivers, lakes, hills, and valleys, but because it's cold there majority of the time, those areas are frozen or covered with snow. The People of the Winter Tribe don't mind this though, they prefer the colder season.
They celebrated winter with dancing, singing, and being together with friends and family, while a massive feast was being cooked. They felt that the cold air in their lungs made them feel alive. The music was loud and was echoed even louder by the mountains. Creating massive snowmen and having intense snowball competition with each other was considered spending quality time with people. The food they ate was cooked over fires while stories were being told, these stories were about great grandparents who journeyed across hazardous icy lands and successfully established a community that would become the People of the Winter Tribe.
There would also be sports that people played using the snowy terrain. Many popular sports were snowboarding and skiing, and people enjoyed ice skating over the frozen bodies of water.
Around the time of sunset, the People of the Winter Tribe would be eating the feast that they've waited all day for, tired and hungry from all of their activities from earlier in the day. Together, everyone sat gathered around a big campfire, and more old folklore was told to keep people entertained, occasionally scary stories about abominable snowmen and other creatures were told to keep children out of the forest at night.
After the feast, it was time for decorations to come down and outdoor activities to cease. Everyone did their part in carrying things back inside sheds and houses. However, just because it's night time, doesn't mean the festivities end. Inside warm and cozy homes, the dancing, singing, and games continued. Warm and tasty desserts were served with hot chocolate, and families watched winter movies together.
The following days of the winter season was a time when people celebrated and appreciated the winter season in their own unique and individual ways. Small groups of people from the Winter Tribe choose to climb mountains, train and prepare for winter Olympics, and some people even choose to be tour guides and mountain guides for tourists who want to explore the winter wonderland that the People of the Winter Tribe have grown to call home. Animals roam about the land too, and coexist with the Winter Tribe as they have for hundreds of years, most of the animals were looked after and taken care of by the families in the tribe, in exchange, some animals protect the tribe and the people in it.
