The days seemed to past in a blur, each getting faster then the last. But today was the day, the day you had dreaded all week.
"Morning Kylie." Walking into the main room, you stretched. Kylie smiled over at you. But you knew that look, underneath her smile was concern.
"Kylie." You whined, walking over to sit at the table. She sat down beside you, giving you a tight huge. You leaned into Kylie, letting her squeeze you.
"Kylie, Kylie, I'm gonna pop." Kylie let go, and laughed, nearly falling back, you quickly caught her, and you two burst out in a laughing fit.
"I'll be fine, I promise."
"You know, we talked about what to do if anything happens." Kylie crossed her arms, the mood in the room completely changed. You Sank back into your chair, feeling a bit threatened. Kylie softened.
"(Y/n) I'm sorry, I love you, I want you to be safe." Kylie reached behind her, handing you a granola bar. You took it gingerly, unwrapping it.
"I love you too Kylie, but again, you need to worry about yourself." Kylie snorted, standing up. She walked over to the cabinets. You took your que, standing up.
"Bye Kylie." You waved, Kylie waved back as you walked out of the door. Power through. That's what you knew best.
Making it to work wasn't hard. But walking into the building felt like a big weight. Time slowed down to a stand still. Lights flickered, and hummed. Cale was standing there waiting for you.
"(Y/n) I'm sorry you felt that way last time we talked, you caught me at a bad time I apologize for my behavior." Cale looked down at his feet, just by hide current behavior, you could tell that he didn't want to face you. You couldn't lie, you felt the same way.
"Uh..yeah.. it's fine, I'm just worried this Job isn't the safest." Unzipping your coat and hanging it up, you eyed him suspiciously, you could tell just by the look in Cales eyes he was waiting to spew sarcasm.
"No job is safe, it's all run by people who see you as numbers. Not a person with a life. I can't change that (y/n)." You frowned at this. You knew it was true.
Letting out a large sigh, you ushered Cale to head back to the office.
"How's your head?" You asked, hoping to start some small talk to pass the awkward silence.
"Had better days, but I am getting better slowly." Smiling lightly, you sat down in the trusty office chair.
"That's good! Hopefully within the next week it will be fully healed." You pulled up your cameras, flicking through the halls while Cale organized the office.
"That reminds me (y/n) you know that the cameras are running at all times right?" Cale flicked the flashlight up to the hallway, quickly shutting it off once again.
Shit
Shit shit shit
"Yeah..why?" You moved your chair to face Cale, putting up a false wall of confidence.
"Well I checked your last shift, the cameras went off around 3am."
3am? That's when Springtrap first made an appearance that night.
"Off? What do you mean off?" Your brows knitted.
"I'll show you, follow me (y/n)." Cale stood up, walking out of the office. Your heart lurched forwards. You followed behind Cale, until he stopped nearing the first camera. You knew this one, it was the one that lead into the hallway you were in. It slipped your mind that a camera was even in this hall.
