"Hey baby, how was work?" K'saiah asked opening the door for Ajani, she had a irritable look on her face so he already knew she was upset.
"Hey." She muttered not answering his question, after putting her seatbelt on she leaned her head on the window.
"What's wrong with you?" K'saiah decided to ask , he saw her roll her eyes making him raise his eyebrows.
Her problem was when she got a attitude she had a problem with everyone and would make you have a attitude if you kept trying to talk to her.
"I don't want to talk about it." She snapped.
"Fix your tone Ajani." He replied making her smack her teeth.
"You hungry?" He asked keeping its short, she nodded regretting being rude since all he was doing was checking on her.
"Yes."
After they got food and arrived at their house, he still opened all the doors that he usually opened.
He locked their house door and handed her , her food and walked to their room still not speaking.
The were both real prideful and they would keep this up until one of them cracks, it was usually K'saiah because he was the softer one out of them but today he refused.
He turned on a criminal documentary while biting into his shrimp pasta, a couple minutes passed and Ajani finally came into the room. She still didn't speak, instead she walked into the bathroom to shower.
About 30 minutes passed and Ajani was now out of the shower, her curly hair was stored away in her bonnet and she wore some boy shorts with a lacy bra.
Petty.
She hummed a song while she put her dirty clothes in the laundry basket, he took the opportunity to look at her ass while she was bent over.
He bit down on his bottom lip and looked away when she got back up.
He felt the bed dip signaling that she got in the bed with him, he was now scrolling on Instagram looking at nothing in particular.
"Love," Ajani spoke straddling K'saiah's lap finally giving in, it took all of him not to immediately swarm her with affection.
"Hm?" He hummed still not looking up from his phone.
"I'm sorry for having an attitude when you didn't do anything but try to communicate with me and ask me what was wrong." She admitted finally making him look up at her.
"I forgive you, but why did you have a attitude In
the first place?""I was with a older patient and they were just so rude, it was a rude old white lady and it made me so fucking mad because she was making slick comments about my skin color saying I was too dark, and that Im fat and shit." She responded getting mad all over again , his eyebrows nitted up as she continued.
