Wait! I Have More Than One Mate?

Chapter 2

A/N present time for Jackson

   Tomorrow is my 16h birthday and a full moon! I get my coming of age ceremony the night of my birthday.  Most wolves have to wait until the full moon after their birthday if the Moon goddess doesn't decide to be full the night of their birthday. I go on about my day as if nothing has happened before today. I take a walk over to the school as the high school is only a 10 minute walk, and I didn't want anyone to realize I have been having nightmares. Sir left for meetings with other packs for the past 6 months but promised to be home for my birthday. Ever since he left I've been having nightmares about the night of my 14th birthday. I'm afraid while he is gone he will find his mate and hate me.

   At school I didn't really learn much, most of my teachers are pack members so I have it easy. They all just think I'm a stuck up daddy's boy who can't do anything without my dad. Well, they are right I went from a straight A student who plays volleyball to failing every class and dropping from the team, without sir home with me I am nothing. My older siblings and their mates are worried about me, I don't think they need to be. After school I headed straight home, Skye refused to let me go alone so they tagged along with Blaze as always. I never understood how Skye could be with Blaze he was too cool for them but it wasn't my business so I didn't say anything.

   When we finally reached the house I ran straight for my room. I am great full we don't live in the pack house. I began to cry silently after locking the door, I heard several people knocking. I pretended not to hear them I could tell by sent none of them were who I wanted. I continued to pretend no one was there. I haven't really eaten in 3 weeks if I eat to please my siblings I throw it all back up when no one is looking. I lay on my bed and cry myself to sleep.

  "Bambi.. why has he abandoned us..?"
"He hasn't abandoned us young one. He will come back he promised."
"I guess you're right. I'm going to sleep now Bambi.."
"Rest well, tomorrow you will be of age to find out who our mate is and you will be stressed sleep tight and try not to think bout him."

  After talking to Bambi with my eyes shut I soon fall fast asleep tear stains all over my face and pillow. Bambi was right I needn't think of sir I find my mate tomorrow hopefully. I know I will never get the mate I wished for he is mated to my elder sibling after all. After good night's sleep for once I woke up and it was going to be the worst day ever. I began to cry out in pain, I never felt anything this painful. I heard Bambi whisper something about a heat, I am beyond over today. There was a knock on my door and my ears hurt so bad from it I screamed in pain causing the door to get broken open.

   I was in too much pain to pay attention to who was standing there until I felt familiar hands pick me up and hold me close. I immediately knew it was sir, or so I thought. I had buried into the man's arms not even looking to see who was cradling me. I took deep breaths to calm down now my senses coming to me I smelled something as amazing as the trees and grass covered in dew at dawn. I looked up to be met with glowing eyes.

  "Hey Blaze, you should go I'm in heat.."

"An Alpha in heat? That's new I'll let Skull know so he lets you rest. Also I'm Katana not Blaze darling."

  "Oopsie sorry anyways, thank you, Katana."

  "No problem, cutie."

I quickly climb off Katana's lap and lay back on bed. Katana left to inform Skull and bring me a glass of  strawberry milk, with a side of heat meds. The meds are supposed to help maintain the heat cycle for a beta and omega. I am the first alpha to ever get a heat. This will be interesting I suppose. I over heard Skull tell Katana sir wasn't gonna make it back until tomorrow. He broke his promise he is missing my 16th birthday, I will forever hate him for this! I waited until Katana brought in the meds and milk, I thanked them and took my meds before dismissing them. Once my door closed I began crying my eyes out again, I failed at not thinking about him.

  
    When it was time for my party and ceremony I decided it was time to get dressed. I put on a white suit and braided my hair into French braids, I applied my cover-up, foundation and eyeliner. My makeup look was pretty basic but I looked amazing, if only I felt how I looked. I headed downstairs and greeted everyone who came from the pack and other packs. I smiled and carried on my night as if my father was nothing more than that. The sun was setting and it was nearly time for my ceremony, I made a few new friends that go to my high school that are just from different packs. Their names are Omega and Luna, they are the coolest people I've ever met not to mention both are adorable.

  When it was time I stood on the hill under the moon I looked out at the crowd looking for any familiar face when my eyes landed upon Blaze, I felt at ease now. I took off my suit top and waited for the breaking and repositioning of my bones, I screamed in pain once it started but after that nothing. I slowly slipped into the darkness I suppose you would call it. I looked through Bambi's eyes to see everyone staring at me in shock. They all looked at me like Digger did when I was a young pup. Everyone's eyes began to glow before they bowed to us, why were they bowing? I'll never know. Bambi lifted our head and let out a mighty loud howl before shifting back into me.
 
   After I fully returned I smelt several sweet unbearable scents and Bambi slipped out with a growl shouting "MATES!!"
