Cold

    The harsh snow threatens the community of people. No matter where they lived, in the Skies, underground, in the tall towering buildings of the cities. Blizzards took over the planet. There seemed to be no sign of warmth in the desert spaces between cities. The flora and fauna have perished struggling to survive these harsh conditions. The only places that seemed to have signs of life were the communities that lived in those cities and towns. The Surviving communities of humans created towers of heat that could sustain them for centuries. In the sky, a pirate flew through the sky but she began to fly less as the blizzards became worse.

   {I saw a figure in the plains, I landed my blimp to see who the figure was. Helena... her face was in the snow. The only reason I could see her bright orange hair sticking out of the snow. Her backpack was beside her. I stopped out of the blimp and I ran over to try and retrieve my friend. She was freezing... I fear the worst.}

   Martha took a smaller ship to land on the planes where she found Helena face first in the snow. She took a blanket to retrieve her frozen body from the snow filled field. There were huge snow tracks left in the snow as Martha retreated to her ship carrying the orange haired woman.

   {I feared the worst. This is the worst. A lady I come to care about and.. My crew mates would say fond over. Has fallen to the cold, her arms and legs are all kinds of blue and purple. Frostbite. Her eyes.. The emerald green is now a foggied jewel.}

   [A blur, yes that was what my vision degraded into. A bright light burning my pupils. I had to complete a mission. A mission more so for myself, I had to go to the furnace tower hearing rumors of spirits living inside. It was a lie. A cruel joke sent by the demons from below to drag me down with them. I am a beast from the heavens, but I have fallen so far into darkness after journeying to that furnace tower.]

   {She didn't wake up for a while. Lady Helena... Kurt and Vera were trying their hardest to keep her alive. Like many others in the cities, she was given metal prosthetics. I feel great pain for her. I ponder on my questions as my paranoia grows. How did she end up far from the cities? No one can live out there! How did she become blind.. Her eyes can no longer perceive the world through sight. Was someone after her? I will have to ask her.. I also have to make sure to give her space first.. And let her recover.}

   Martha left the infirmary leaving Helena to rest, the procedure has been done but the hardest thing for Martha is for her to explain what happened to Helena.
