Illumi POV

I stare up at the bright night sky as I lean on the balcony railing, questions clouding my mind,

"Young Master illumi" I hear a voice behind say, most likely Gotoh, I give him a quiet hum in response

"I have been informed that Y/n is here and will most likely break down the gates once again" Gotoh briefly states

I quickly shoot my head around at the sound of his name "y/n is here!?" I say shocking Gotoh with the amount of emotion I'm expressing

"A-Ah yes he's here with Young Master killua's supposed 'friends' " Gotoh quickly switches his shocked expression to serious once again

Anger bubbles in chest as I hear that he's here will killua's "friends" he shouldn't be with them he should be with me and only me

"You are dismissed" I bitterly say to the Butler, as soon as that was said he rushes out

I turn back to the sky gripping the railing, not hard enough to break it

I feel something wet stream from my eye as my heart aches, I reach my hand out to feel it only for more to fall out as I fall to my knees, a choked sound escaping my throat

'you made me feel free...so why did you leave? you gave me hope, that maybe this world isn't as cruel...and yet there you were looking at me as if I were a stranger, looking at me in disgust as I argued with killua...

Y/N POV

"Wait" I hear Zebro say before I could open the gates

I turn my head to look at Zebro before he continues on," y/n you may be able to open these gates and be more than worthy, but you're friends here need to also be worthy, I'm sorry but you can't just do the work for all of them"

"Hm I guess" I say as I take my hands off the gate, turning to Gon I muster out a small quiet apology

"It's okay y/n! We can work as a team to open the gate!" Gon cheerfully says

"I'll lend you the key" Zebro says, clearly catching everyone off guard

"But what about y/n-

"I'll accompany you through the door, it's possible that Mike might recognize me, most likely y/n and decide not to attack...though I'm 50% sure he might kill us-

"HOW DARE YOU SPEAK OF MIKE THAT WAY, HE IS ADORABLE YOU UNCULTURED SWINE" I say offended, I mean when illumi showed me Mike he I immediately fell in love with the big dog, he was like a big cinnamon roll, I remember he cried when I left

"A-Ah but it's the truth y/n, although he might not kill you, there is still a possibility he'll kill us" Zebro explains

"But still you can't do that, if y/n isn't allowed to open the door for all of us, still I don't want to cause you trouble" Gon sternly says

"No I'm coming with you, if I send Young killua's friends to their deaths I'd never be able to face him again...if you die, I die"

I look to the gates where everyone is just to see all of the gates open but smashed into the inside of the giant walls
