"Y/n!! Wake up honey, we're here!" I hear my mother say as she shakes me to wake up out of my peaceful sleep.
"Huh.. what?" I say well rubbing my eyes. I look out the window to see my new home.. this was a lot different from my old home.. look at the palm trees and the hot air.
"Mom.. I don't understand why we had to move, I was 100% happy at our old home." I say irritated.
"I know things have been hard and all with your dad passing.. but look around, this is a chance for us to have a new beginning. We can start fresh." My mom says with a soft smile.
"Yeah, whatever.." I say stubbornly.
"Okay now help me unload the car." My mom says.
Well carrying the last box from the car I actually take my time to look around. I heard they have a pool around here.. I look to my right to see a almost fully drained pool that looks like it hasn't been taken care of in 10 years. Whelp that's nice I suppose.
I walked into the cool conditioned air placing the last box on the kitchen counter.
"Thanks for helping hun, you know you should really go check the area out. Make some new friends, have fun.." my moms say turning to look at me.
"Don't you need help here?" I ask unsure.
"No, no. I can take it from here." My mom responds.
I hug my mom before heading out the door. As I walk out the door I bump into a pretty tall person. I look up to see a brunette boy with really nice features, he's kind of cute I think to myself..
"Oh, I'm so sorry! I just moved here today.. my names Daniel." He says.
I look to the now I know as Daniel. "It's okay don't worry about it, also my names y/n L/n I actually just moved here today as well believe it or not." I say with a smile.
"Wow, that's a funny coincidence." He says with a little laugh.
We continue to chat as we walk to the exit of the building.
"Hey, hey, watch this!" Daniel says kicking the gate proceeding to knock a person down on the other side.
"I'm so sorry man!" He says
"Aye don't worry about it." He says with a smile. "I'm Freddy, I haven't seen you two around are you guys new?"
"Yeah we are, I'm daniel and that's y/n" daniel says directing his head towards me as I send a smile.
"Cool you guys will love it here, me and some friends are having a party at the beach tonight if you guys would like to join." Freddy says.
"Uh i'm not to sure." I say skeptical.
"Come on Y/n it will be fun!!" Daniel says well grabbing my shoulders.
"Ugh, fine." I say giggling.
"Sweet I'll see you guys there." Freddy says well walking away.
I have a bad feeling about this I think but decide to push away.
