When George hits that three pointer, he felt ecstatic. He felt that he can do anything, to be the king of three pointers. At that time, even basketball is still the most popular sport in the country. Within his first years in the league, he would continously played the Shooting Guard position. Well, that is where great shooters are.

And the announcer, league commisioner to be precise, mentioned George to be the fourth overall pick from Auburn University. He played really well in high school and went to Auburn with a scholarship in his hands. With that, his career path seemed visible and the one role that he played was the shooter. He trained to shoot three pointers, such what Ray and Reggie specialized at. Their hall of fame careers was really special and he watched them growing up in his hometown.

He trained specifically from about 5 cm towards the shooting line. His club, picked him since they already had a star center and wanted to fill the shooting position. George was quite happy when he was drafted there. In his first two season, also sprained with injuries such as wrists and ankles, he averaged 20 points 5 assists and 3 rebounds per game. He began practicing to be a defender and in order to be an elite all star player, he went to the gym. At year 3 his points were still approximately the same, but his steals averaged about 2 per game.

This momentum continued for 8 years now, when now he is an elite shooting guard with 3 all star appearances. Now, he began his best years in the league. The issues is this: from the time the league drafted him, his club can't pass the first round of the play offs. He began to be critized that he can't win a championship alone. The club considering to trade him to better and younger players. Thus he began working out again and again.

Within the 82 match inside a league season, he played 80 games as a starter. The team decided to add an all star small forward to help the assists and points average of the team, and the trade seemed to be working well. George averaged 28 points, 7 assists, and 4 rebounds per game. This is the peak of his carrier as yet. His team record is 64 wins overall, thus gaining the first seed in the playoffs.

George won MVP in his 8th year in the league, his career path seemed to be on roll to the hall of fame. That seemed good enough, but to win a ring is the most prestigious award a basketball player must have. He averaged 30 points in the first series of the playoffs as the team won at game five. He then cruising towards the conference final with a record of 4-2 in the semis. He felt that this is the year. He didn't know what to do to achieve better results in next year and further again. He felt that now is the best time.

The conference finals went in a thrilling fashion. Every game finished with below 5 points difference. George was leading the scores with his average of 26 points until game 3. In game 3, the defender from the opposing team hit george with a flagrant foul, thus injuring his legs in the process. Their team was losing 1-2 in the moment.

After that, his career derailed. The very next season, the league announced a brand new point line, the fourth one. With a distance much longer than the three point line, the league thus create training method for universities to learn how to shoot from there. Later, his team lost the series in game 5 in the conference finals. The team kept him for another five seasons, but due to age difference he can't give a better shooting performance now. He can't achieve higher average than his MVP season later on. He began to push the assist ladder but it is still the same for his team, never went to the finals.  Injuries here and there, must be the reason why he retired early at 33.

At that time, the younger players averaged 40 points a game with the new point line. The new MVP averaged 47 points, 11 assists, and 5 rebounds, nearly the same points average as Wilt himself at a single season. George had one regret throughout his career later on.

"Why didn't i just join another team?"
