"I heard that you need to pass your test in order to play volleyball on Inter... what?"

"It's an Interhigh Tournament, (Y/N)-senpai." Goshiki replies with determination.

"Ohh right, right~ I didn't know much about it." You chuckles as you boop your forehead with your pen.

"Don't worry, (Y/N)-senpai! I will share a lot of information about it for you."

Apparently, before the week of exams and during the weekend, Goshiki had showed up to your dorm and begged you to tutor him for his difficult subject.

As a great senpai or your kind personality, you agreed since you had no problem with it. Now it leads to here, both of you were outside at the cafe, studying while enjoying desserts.

Goshiki really wants to pay for your desserts. After all, he's the one who suggested studying in a cafe, also as a thanks for your kindness.

But you wouldn't let him do that. Even though it was such a manly act for him, you didn't want to be rude. So you declined his offer to pay for your food.

You helped Goshiki on the subject that he has a problem with, as well as studied your own subject when you put on a small test for him, to see if he's finally managed to understand and solve the problem.

Your eyes glimmered at his statement. "Really? Then I'll look forward to it."

He smiles widely. "Of course, (Y/N)-senpai. How about we have a break for a while and talk about it?" He suggested.

You checked the time on your watch, it has been approximately 3 hours since the two of you got to this cafe and started studying.

"Sure~" You said with a nod.

The two of you cleared up the table space by putting away the stationeries and books to the side and then gathered the desserts and drinks in the middle.

Both of you start talking, well mostly Goshiki.

He explains that Interhigh Tournament is a high school tournament for volleyballs, basketballs, baseballs and so on. It is where the battle for powerhouse schools with the aim of going to the national. If the school team loses, there's a second chance to battle, which is the Spring Tournament.

Goshiki badly wants to make it to the national with his teammates, more specifically with the third years. He wants to face more powerful schools like Inarizaki High, Itachiyama Institute, Nekoma High, Fukurodani Academy and even Kamomedai High.

He told you that those schools are the ones that he finds it very hard to defeat. He had seen some video clips from his phone about the match. The players were insanely powerful and it excites him.

He desires to be the top ace in the future, just like his senpai Ushijima Wakatoshi. To make it possible, he had to practice more and harder.

You smile as you listen to him ranting about volleyball or his future self. The way his eyes would spark when it was interesting to him. You would only nod your head or even reply with short words. He really loves volleyball, huh?

He kind of realizes that he ranted a lot so he changed the topic.

"So, (Y/N)-senpai, what makes you study so hard for exams? Perhaps for your future college?" He asks after he sips his drink.

You inclined your head at his statement. "I've dreamt of studying at a big university or college. That's why I've been studying nonstop."

Goshiki raised one side of his eyebrow. "Nonstop? Like how?" He asked.
