Slowly the winter turned into spring, filling my life with plenty of school work to catch up with and a Quileute tribe I wanted to spend all my time with. As Spring should, it led into warm summer days, no longer did I care about school, no I had bigger priorities this time that being practice and embrace my newfound powers and also, having as much fun as possible.

That fun completely entrapped me as my world calmed down, calmed in a matter of creatures out to hurt me and my family that is. I was no longer just surviving anymore, I was living.

"Jake get in the water!" I yell at him as he sits on the sand completely ignoring my screams as he's been trying to get me to come out for 30 minutes and he thinks this will get me. I scoff as Copper splashes around at me.

"Jake she's going to tsunami you if you don't c'mon!" Embry yells from my side, him and Lena having fun in it. I laugh as he just stares ahead, he knew what he was doing and he wasn't going to win.

I get out and walk up to him, putting my hands on my exposed hips. He finally looks back up at me with smirking eyes.

"Your just mad because I won." I say playfully. He scoffs.

"I wouldn't call using your powers to do it winning Beth."

Those few minutes before he was ignoring me he was in the water with me, and of course it got playful and I thought it would be funny to use my water to win, he called it cheating and now he's here.

"Whatever your just scared you'll lose again." T'hat done it' I thought before I find myself, a powerful elemental, running from a man back into the water. I let him take a hold of me, nothing competing with his embrace. I lean back into him, turning my head only a little bit to his.

"Jake?" I ask innocently, his hold softens at my tone making me able to move out of his embrace quickly, dunking his head under water. I move as far away as possible as he rises back up, a frown overtaking his face and a mischievous smirk taking over mine.

"Since you said it was because I used my powers, how's your ego feeling now Jakey?." I laugh at the nickname that unnerved him, moving back towards him slowly. I watch his dangerous eyes take in my every movement, still as unnerving as it was the first time. I reach out my hand through the water, he takes it pulling me dizzily into his arms.

"Now what's my reward?" I ask teasingly moving closer to his face. He scoffs at me, but none the less moves closer to my face.

"Whatever you want Baby." I launch at him in a deep kiss, cut too short by a groan across the beach.

"Hey baby makers, food's ready!" Paul yells earning a serious glare from Jacob that I can't ignore. It seemed his anger got the best of him when it came to me, like territory ever since the marking.

We swim out of the water and back onto the sandy beach. The summers here in La Push didn't disappoint, Jacob said they didn't last long enough to him.

I walk up to Emily sitting plates around the picnic table they put on the beach. I laughed as I watched Sam pick up the whole table by himself from the truck bed. The strength the wolves had wouldn't go unnoticed to a blind eye.
