Arthur , Debbie, Alex and Vicky were sitting on a table at the Guzman’s Italian Treat. They had already made their order but it hadn’t yet come. So, they were just sitting awkwardly on the table. Vicky was annoyed by Arthur and Arthur was just glad that he was an irritant to Vicky. Such a lovely working relationship Arthur and Vicky had. Their working relationship could be defined as ,
“ I hate you Arthur!”
“ Well, I hate you better, Vicky.”
“ So , Alex and Debbie, how was your prom?” , Vicky asked to loosen the tension on the table.
“ Cool.” Debbie said as she stared at her phone screen.
“ Debbie, haven’t I taught you enough manners? Please don’t use your phone on the table!”
Debbie dropped her phone on the table and Vicky scoffed.
“ Obviously, you have taught her no manners. If I had a child, she would be the opposite of Debbie, she would be well-mannered and refined.”
“ Vicky, I’d rather you keep your parenting advice to yourself for you have no child yourself.” Arthur defensively said. Alex and Debbie giggled, making Vicky feel angry.
“ Oh, Alex, so you find that funny?”
“ No Aunt, No” Alex said as he tried to suppress his laughter.
“Good!”
“ Well, I can see why, you don’t have a child. Because no man will want to live and have a child under the rule of Her Majesty, the tyrant Victoria.”
“ Arthur mind your  business!”, Vicky said as she threw a hissy fit at Arthur.  “ You’ve meddled with my business life enough but my personal life has boundaries and don’t cross them!”
“ Aunt Vee, relax, he was just joking with you.” Alex said as he tried to cool his aunt down.
“ Yeah, Vicky please cool down.” Debbie bantered.
Vicky took a deep breath in. There was absolute silence on the table  for a while until the waiter brought the food. The table was still silent so Alex decided to break the silence.
“ Well, Aunt Vee and  Arthur, Debbie and I want to tell you something.
“ And what may that be?” Arthur asked.
“Debbie and I  are dating.”
“ What!” exclaimed Vicky. “ You can’t be dating this wretched thing.”
“ Aunt please don’t call her that.”
“ Hey, old lady, what the hell did you call me?” Debbie said as she stood up.
“ How dare you call me old?”
“ Oh please, spare me that chatter. If you don’t know, we can all see pass that mascara on your face, grandma!”
“ Oh no you didn’t!” Vicky shouted as she also stood and threw her spaghetti on Debbie, creating a big scene. People’s attention was driven to the food fight between Debbie and Vicky. Arthur tried to stop them but they started to throw the food at him too. Alex who was just sitting down with his arms folded blew out.
“ It’s enough ladies!” suddenly everyone stopped throwing food. Alex stood up as he was about to make his touching speech. “ Aunt Vee, I am deeply in love with Debbie so deal with it. If you’re going to keep on fighting because of this love I have for her then fine, keep on fighting. Keeping on bickering  like children.” Alex then grabbed his phone and made a dramatic exit. Vicky stood there, with her dress all soiled with salsa and spaghetti looking at Arthur and Debbie, who looked like food zombies.
“ Vicky don’t do that. Allow the children to date.”
“ No, no ,no ,no and no. My nephew will never be together with this thing.”
“ Come on Vicky don’t do that to me!”, Debbie said with a sad voice
“ Shhhh, just shut up.  And as for you, I am going to deal with you.” She said referring to Arthur and ran off, chasing after Alex.
Arthur apologized to the manager, paid for the food and the debt of the broken stuff and left the restaurant with Debbie.
