In which Martina Diaz sees her family for the first time in 3 years and a lot has changed
SUMMARY The Diaz family has always managed to stay afloat and has lived happily with the money they've had for years.
Martina and Miguel have always managed to get top scores in their classes but in this case Martina gets the attention of a school in Europe she is offered a full scholarship to the best high school in Finland.
Of course with the encouragement of her twin brother, mother and grandmother she accepts the student exchange programme scholarship and moves there the summer before freshman year.
Years go by and Martina is doing an amazing job in the new country. Puberty hit her like a bus, she has the best friends and host family she could ever ask for.
But something she never expected was for her host mother to ask her if she wanted to spend a semester in The United States. With a little convincing, the school allowed her to go for a semester, to see her brother and family.
The girl never expected to come back to a town in the middle of a karate war.
So what happens when she returns and doesn't recognize her twin brother?

- She is Martina's best friend and host sister
- Martina and Lyndsay are basically sisters
- When Martina comes to the Valley her host family decide to come as well
- So they stay for the semester as well
- They actually all come during December in season 3 for Christmas
- Martina doesn't know that Miguel started Karate
- Nor does she know that he was paralysed and in a coma
- Her mom never told her because he didn't want her to worry and come back
- So during those two weeks that Miguel was in a coma her mom lied and said his phone was broken
- So she finds out later and is pissed
- Miguel also never really talked about Martina
- Because some part of him felt abandoned when she left
- So she's surprised when she introduces herself and people are shocked
- Oh and Martina mainly goes my Tina but Miguel and her mom call her Marty
- Her love interest is Robby
- They met at the strip mall at that convenience store
- They bonded over their favorite chip brands
- And exchanged numbers to 'keep talking about chip flavours'
- They are such flirts omg
- The first place they hang out is at the skate park and he teaches her how to skate
- Every time she feel he rushed to her side to make sure she was okay
- She fell for Robby way before she knew about the school fight
- And what happened to Miguel
- Now onto Lyndsay

- She was born to an Afro-American and Afro-Finish ( you can decide who is who ) in New York
- She moved to Finland when she was about 6 and has lived there since
- Like I mentioned earlier you can cast her family
- She is basically the more Finnish grounded version Dina from Ianowt
- Their personalities are the same
- Lyndsay did karate for about 5 years from the age of 10 to 15
- she was the national champion for under 18
- She stopped just before freshman year
- so when Johnny and Miguel ask she joins Eagle Fang
- she should make it to the final round
- but loses ( bc of the finale)
- oh and her family comes with Martina because they think it would be a good change of environment for them to go together
- they live in Encino
- you can decide if Martina stays with the diaz family or with the Antilla's
- Her love interest you can decide on
