In the  mirror of my room I looked at my reflection and began to lightly comb my strands of hair like charcoal.Trapped in my mind I was thinking about yesterday and the events that happened, and the theft of weapons.I wonder who could have stolen the weapons without being seen by the guards?

I began to took off my corset and started to undo the splints but I was struggling to untie completely so I started swearing loudly.

-Fuck,these damns splints!

The doors of the room opened and my mother entered the room addressing me in an authoritarian tone:

-That's not a way how a young lady should speaks. A young lady has manners and is delicate in her posture.

My mother was a friend of the queen so she had immense authority over the city and was a member of the council with my uncle. The council was the most important in the city and a total of 8 members are on the council. Her black eyes pierced me from the position where she was with her hands behind her back.

-I'm sorry mom, but sometimes I can't control myself,it's hard to be a lady when the little things annoy you, especially the fact that i can't go out like a normal person. I feel lost and I feel like a doll in her box where I can't get out and I'm tormented by this thought I know I'm important and I know I'm doing all these things for everyone, but this burden is pretty heavy on my shoulders to carry.

-I understand that it is difficult for you not to go out and have fun with other children, but you must understand that you are fighting for an important cause and for our future. If you don't succeed those people from the underground city will win and take over and we will be left with nothing. All our efforts will be in vain and you are the one who will bring victory for our city. Do you understand? My mother said with a menacing tone and i simply nodded with fear

-I understand mother, I understand that we are fighting for our future.

-When the day comes you will be put in a team of 10 people and you will set off on the road for the tournament. The road will be exhausting and will take 5 days on foot so it would be good to be ready and rested when the day comes. Do you still want to help me with the corset? I would like to get you rid of a burden my mother said with a shinning smile on her face.

-Well, if you're still here, come and help me with my corset.

When she finished to undo the last staple of the corset I thanked her with a smile and i hugged her.
