It All Started With Carrot Cake (Elliot March One Shot)

Okay so I really just got into this manga. Thanks to some of my friends. I've only made it to the second book but I love it so far. Anyway I couldn't get this off my mind and figured I'd write it. Well here it goes. I may write more one shots in the future. For now enjoy this one.

(Jamie's Pov)

I woke up to find myself in a really awkward situation. Right in front of me was a man. But he wasn't normal from what I could see. Last time I checked people didn't have animal ears on their head. He just stared at me and I stared right back. He had a gun pointed at me.

"Who are you?" I was so scared that I couldn't say anything or move for that matter. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"I asked you a question." I gulped.

"M-my name is Jamie..." I mumbled. Soon a girl ran up to us.

"Elliot stop! Can't you see she is an outsider?" She ran in front of me and stopped. The rabbit in front of us lowered his gun. I sighed in relief. The girl standing in front of me turned around.

"Hi I'm Alice." I smiled at her. She seemed normal enough.

"It's nice to met you Alice. My name is Jamie." She smiled at me. I looked over her shoulder at the one she called Elliot.

"That's Elliot don't worry he wont hurt you." She said when she noticed where I was looking.

"But he pointed a gun at me. Also he has rabbit ears..." I whispered the last part to her. She laughed softly.

"Yea I know but he's really nice when you get to meet him." I just looked at her. I looked around now if only I knew where I was...

"Alice where am I? Also what did you mean earlier when you said I was an outsider?" All this time Elliot just stood there. Alice sighed.

"I'll explain everything later. Come on you must be hungry." Right after she said that my stomach growled causing me to blush.

"She can come to the Mansion and have tea with us." Alice nodded in agreement.

"Yea the Hatter Mansion is the closet right now." She looked at me. "That sound okay." All I could do was nod.

So now here I sat at a table having tea with my new friends expect for Blood who seems to hate me. Thanks to Alice I met the twins Dee and Dum who I can't tell apart. Of course I met Elliot earlier. She told me a lot about where we were and why she had called me an outsider. Alice is also an outsider just like me.

"You sure like carrots..." Elliot looked up at me.

"I do but I don't like them plain." I stared at him. "What?"

"Are you a rabbit or something?" He stopped eating and glared at me.

"I'm not a rabbit!" I blinked.

"But the ears and your love for carrots..."

"They like plain carrots I'm different! I'm not a rabbit!"

"Okay then..." Suddenly out of nowhere another guy with rabbit ears came running in yelling for Alice.

"Alice there you are." He went in to hug her but she moved causing him to fall on his face.

"Alice what did you do that for?" He pouted.

"I didn't want a hug from you."

"I don't know why you are hanging out here." He looked at everyone and stopped on me. He blinked a few times.

"Who are you?" His ear twitched.

"Peter this is Jamie she is an outsider like me." I waved my hand to say hello. This place just continued to get weirder by the minute. Peter went back to as Alice put it harassing her. I looked over a Elliot who had a piece of cake.

"Is that carrot cake?" He smirked at me.

"Yes...yes it is."

"Can I have a piece?" I asked him.

"No." He took a bit of cake.

"What? Why not?" I glared at him.

"Because I don't feel like sharing." He smirked. I stood up and walked off even if I had no clue where I was going.

(Alice's Pov)

I looked away from Peter to see Jamie wander off. I looked to Elliot who seemed a little sad.

"Where's Jamie going?" I asked.

"Stupid rabbit made her mad." The twins said in unison. I looked at Elliot. He just stared down at the cake in front of him. Before I could say anything to him he stood up and got another plate of carrot cake and walked off. I smiled when I realized it was in the same direction Jamie went.

"Ugh.... PETER GET OFF ME!"

"But Alice I love you!"

(Jamie's Pov)

I had no idea where I was. I stopped and sat down. Man men can be real jerks sometimes. Then again it was just a piece of cake so why did I find myself so upset about it. Well it could have something to do with the fact that the guy not sharing is well... I find myself blushing just thinking he was kinda cute. What am I saying. I can't think that way. I mean come on I barely know the guy.

"Jamie?" I looked up to see the guy on my mind.

"What do you want?" I noticed he had to plates. 

"Do you hate me now?" The look on his face was so pitiful. I blushed and looked away.

"No I don't hate you Elliot...." I smiled at him. He sat down beside me and handed me a piece of cake.

"Good." He started to eat his cake. I looked at his ears. I slowly reached out and touched one. He jumped when he felt the contact.

"Sorry I just couldn't resist..." I removed my hand quickly.

"No...no it's okay. It felt good..." He was blushing. I giggled and took a bite of cake. Elliot stared at me.

"What is it?" He leaned closer. His lips met mine in a soft kiss. I didn't know how to react at first but kissed him back. I heard footsteps but ignored them. 

"Well well this is a good sign." We pulled apart to see Blood, Alice, Dee and Dum, and Peter who had spoken. We both blushed.

"One less person trying to get my Alice." 

"I'm not yours." She sighed but smiled at us. The twins were laughing at Elliot.

"Hey shut up you two!" He was yelling at the twins. I giggled at what was happening. Peter was yelling at Blood who had wrapped an arm around Alice and Elliot was yelling at twins. I looked down at the now empty plates. All this thanks to carrot cake. Well I have a new favorite cake now.

That's the end of this one shot. I hope it's good. Well I think I'll go to bed now that it's out of my mind.
