Hey. I'm happy you're here. 

Let me just explain a few things that might be important before you get into the story. This is a AOT fanfic; I own none of the characters other than Y/N and the plot itself. It is a Royal AU that has nothing to do with the AOT storyline (no titans, no scouts, very different geographical settings). 

I have kept the names (Marley, Paradis, etc) for certain places in the story, but they do not correlate to those in the AOT universe; the setting is different! That is important to know because I will be explaining and describing this new universe and it will be confusing if you try to relate it to AOT. 

There WILL be some light armin x reader as I've said on tiktok, but the story is MOSTLY and essentially eren x reader. Y/N will be described minimally so you can self-insert, but she will still be described as a fem reader for the smut and other detailed scenes like that. I'm open to eventually publishing a gender neutral version, let me know. 

I love narrations, I love world-building, and I LOVE complex plots. So this story will be heavy in all of those, that might not be everyone's thing, and that is okay! Just letting you know!

I will put warnings before each chapter where it is needed (TW or NSFW warning), but I would like to highlight that this story is intended for mature audiences as it will contain coarse language, sexuality (wink), and some other topics not suitable for younger audiences. With that being said, viewer discretion is advised. 

Finally, English is not my first language. If you spot any awkward phrasing, that is probably why. I take my stuff very seriously, so it should be minimal. (Hopefully).

I truly love you all and I REALLY hope you love this as much as I enjoy writing it. I will try to update as often as I can.
