Nobody warned me
For the consequences
Of a little crush
Which developed to become something
Something bigger that I ever imagined
Could be possible
I never once experienced the closeness
I have with you
You make it sound easy
'Just sharing a blanket'
'Just laying next to each other'
I rubbed your back
Wrote 'i love you' with my fingers
You didn't notice
But for me
It was a secret confession
Did you feel what I felt
When you lay there
On your side
My hand on your back
In the dark
