"We?" Jotaro asked, "Who is we exactly?"

"I'm going with you," she said matter-of-factly, "And before you ask for my reason, the answer is right in front of you."

She was pointing to Holly.

"No way in hell."

She switched her gaze, glaring at the boy. Her face almost twisted in annoyance. She couldn't figure out the reason behind his words.

"We're not exactly sure of everything that you can do. We're also not sure if you're lying to us," he concluded.

"I'm not the type to lie, Jotaro," she said, "It's okay if you doubt me, but I'm sure that my connection to Caesar has something to do with the Joestars. Right here is the difference between life and death for Holly. I won't pass this up. No chance."

"Sure," he mumbled under his breath.

"Now hold on, Jotaro," Joseph cut in, "We know that Asa would be of nothing but help to us, even if she is a little bit suspicious."
She sighed. "I guess I can't help that."

"I've known Asa for years, and I can say that she's never given me a chance to not trust her," Kakyoin said, "I'm going too, but for the sole purpose of protecting someone with as sweet a heart as Holly."

"See, you're all dumbasses if you thought the three of you would go on your own. You can't put a dying person in front of our faces and expect us to do nothing about it. That's how Dio got us in the first place."

She walked over to Holly and bent down next to her once again. Her eyes were just barely open as she slept in comfort.

"We'll save her," she affirmed, "There should be no problem in doing so."

Thoughts ran in and out of her head as the Speedwagon Foundation rushed into the Kujo home. The main problem was Kei, her mother, and possibly her stepfather. The least she would do is nothing, and the worst was filing a police report. If that got through and a mass search was underway, it would be a huge problem.

Then the conversation with Jotaro came back to her mind. She figured the belt was probably the last material thing that Caesar had on this earth.

"Asa," Kakyoin whispered, knocking her out of her thoughts, "What do you expect your mother to do?"

"You know, I was just thinking about that," she smiled, "and I have absolutely no idea."

"You think you'll be in trouble?"

"I won't be able to leave the house for a year at least."

He snickered at her sarcasm, making her smile.

"I would say the same."

Asa never traveled, and one of the reasons why was because of her parents. Their fields required them to be where they were needed through any circumstance, and long distance trips were just not a thought that has ever come across their minds.

So, when Joseph announced that they were taking a plane, right now, she was almost ecstatic, until she wasn't. The plane ride was late at night, and the fact that she could feel the slight movements of the plane was irritating, preventing her from getting a full night's sleep. Rather, she slipped in and out of consciousness many times before deciding that she was just going to rest her eyes for the remainder of the flight.
