school was not your thing. waking up, also not your thing.

"Y/N COME. ON!"

"shiiin, 5 more minutes" you covered  your head with your blanket right before kita threw a pillow at you.

"so help me god. y/n, you only have 5 minutes until grandma drives us to school."

"dont you know how to drive?"

"yes but we only have one car, and grandma is meeting with a friend."

"ugh.. give me 3 more minutes of sleep"

"no, now"

"ugh fine." it was like this pretty much every morning.

sleep was good to you, you enjoyed it more than alot of other things. you looked at the clock and saw it was 6:30.

"damn kita family being over achievers."

by no means were you not an over achiever. you had pretty excellent grades in everything but english. you even won the annual stem fair both times you participated. shinsuke was more into sports, while you were into anything that didnt include teamwork, you really hated playing with other people. so you ended up liking video games, skating, and even streaming alot.

it took you 3 minutes to get dressed in your uniform, and eat a piece of banana bread your grandmother made.

"damn, 1 minute more than usual.. im bringing my ds"

you had grabbed you ds and started to head to the car.

"dont forget your coat! its cold out."

"okay grams!" you grabbed your coat and finally made it to the car.

"hey y/n."

"yes shin?" you paused your game, out of respect of your older brother, and looked at him.

"you wanna sit in the gym while we have our morning practice? it is really cold out."

"sure"

"okay cool"

you guys arrived at school and you really just wanted to go back to sleep. you decided you were going to lay on the gym floor, in the corner, and use your backpack as a pillow.

and thats just what you did until a certain middle blocker walked over.

"hey" you peaked your eyes open and saw suna, you couldnt help but smile a little.

"hi suna"

"i didnt know it was nap time, i wouldve grabbed my blanket out of my backpack."

"you have a blanket on you?"

"always, i can grab it if youd like, id need it back after practice."

"please?"

"yea gimme a sec."

you werent sure why suna had a blanket, but you were glad he was letting you borrow it. a couple minutes later he came back out with the blankets and what looked like his hoodie folded into a pillow shape.

"ta dah, make shift travel pack for naps"

"woah, are you sure i can use these?"

"yea, i take naps in here during my free period all the time. usually the twins practice while i sleep or study"

you didnt say anything and instead took the items and ended up taking a nap. it was an hour nap to, the only reason you woke up was because the grey haired twin came over to you.

"he.. HEY!!"

you opened you eyes and just looked at him.

"practice is over. you should leave."

"mkay"

he started to walk away but you needed to ask something.

"hey do you know where suna is?"

"locker room why?"

"i need to give him his stuff back"

"oh i can do that if you want."

"you can?"

"yea, whats your name again? you're kitas brother right?"

"y/n kita" you smiled slightly and he looked dumb for a second.

"oh.. you guys have the same last name i forgot."

"just call me y/n"

"oh ok, ill give this stuff to suna, the bells gonna ring in a minute or two and its always nicer walking in empty halls then crowded ones." he smiled at you and walked off.

you gathered your stuff and headed to your classes wondering what was going to happen today, but your ds seemed more interesting.
