Chapter 2

Arya

We arrived at the hotel Friday evening. We relaxed and did hot tubbing and drinking. Saturday we went shopping in the afternoon before getting ready to go to the club in the evening.

"How do I look?" Sadie asked as she came out wearing a black tank top with a V-neck and a shirt black leather skirt. She had red heels with sparkles on them. Her hair was braided on the side with a few flyaways around her face.

"You look gorgeous." I said smiling. I adjusted the straps to my black dress I was wearing. It had sequins on the upper part of the dress and went down to my knees. As j in bent down to put in my black heels my hair fell into my face. I brushed it out and finished putting on my shoes.

"Let's go out and get wasted." Sadie said as she grinned and looped her arm in mine and we walked out the door to the waiting Uber.

The Uber dropped us off at the club and went inside. We ordered a couple drinks and went and sat at a table. We danced with a couple guys and then ordered more drinks.

"Hey. Ummmm......don't look back now but I'm pretty sure your missing husband is behind us staring at you" Sadie whispered.

"WHAT!!" I exclaimed. "He's here"

"Yeah. Here lest go get a couple shots and then we can switch spots and you can see for yourself."

I just nodded to stun to form words. We got our drinks and sat opposite of each other. I stared. He was here. In Wyoming after 6 years. He was sitting next a another gentleman who had dirty blonde hair and was finely fit.

I stared at Sadie. "He's here in Wyoming."

"Yep" she said.

I drank my whole drink. "I'm gonna need more to drink."

I could not focus on anything for the rest of the night. As much as I tried for Sadie I could not. I keep looking over to where Finn was sitting. He now had a blonde haired girl giving him a lap dance. She then turned around to face him and kissed him.

I turned to Sadie. "I have to go, I can't be here with him over there."

"Okay" she said and went outside to wait for our Uber.

We went back to the hotel and I went into the shower to wash the night away. Wash Finn Lennox out of my mind. I came out of the shower and Sadie came over and hugged me.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"It's fine. I knew when he left me it was not going to actually hold the marriage as real.I need to go to bed I have to get up tomorrow and go home to my kids."

The next morning we got up and went back to Alpine. I was greeted my three kiddos who were very excited to see me.

"I will see you this week when I drop of my paintings." I turned and said to Sadie.

"Okay. Sounds good. Text me if you need anything at all. I love you girl." She said as she hugged me.

I walked inside the house listening to Emery talk about her weekend and Ella just jabbering away.

Elena walked over and hugged me. "How was your weekend away?"

"It was nice to get away for a while." I decided not to mention Finn being at the club in Cheyenne. He probably wouldn't show up anyways.

"I have supper ready if your hungry."

"Okay. Yeah. Have the kids eaten yet?"

"No they wanted to wait for you to come home." Elena said smiling.
