I can hear the far footsteps of slico goons getting closer moment by moment "we need to go now!" I say while moving over to the edge looking down, but from the corner of my eye i spot vi getting ready to jump with a fucking stab wound.

"Vi i will not let you jump down there with an injury" i say calmly moving my hand infront of her so she stays where she is "ze i can handle myself!" Vi says getting thrustrated "well clearly you fucking cant!" I hiss pointing at her wound.

"Can you two stop fighting! we need to move now!" Caitlyn says getting fed up with our bickering "vi come here" i say sternly as she rolls her eyes and stumbles over.

"what- ahhh ze what the fuck are you doing!" Vi says squirming in my arms as i huff before speaking "carrying your stupid ass" i say looking down, and jumping from wooden bar to wooden bar.

I feel my feet hit the ground as i look up and see caitlyn carefully making her way down "hurry princess!" i yell up at her as i carry vi into an old house, i let a sigh escape my lips as i place vi gently on the ground and grab a roll of bandages from my pocket.

I start to cover vi's wound "stay still, i know it hurts, this is what you get for being a reckless idiot" i sigh out as i finish bandaging vi, i hear vi sigh before speaking, "sorry gumdrop.." vi mumbles, as she holds my face gently "its ok violet" i smile before taking her hand away from my slightly masked cheek.

"Ill be back in a moment vi, just going to check on princess" i say with a chuckle as i hear vi let a weak laugh escape her lips, i leave to the outside.

"do you need help" i yell up at caitlyn as she nervously looks down "im perfectly capable doing it by myself, thank you" she says concentrating more on her steps.

"Are you sure, i can carry you down if youd like?" I ask generally curious if she would allow me to do that.

i giggle as i watch her go red faced actually thinking about my offer, "no i-its fine" she stutters out as she takes another step to which she loses her footing.

My eyes widen and i immediately out of reflex run over to catch her.

I look down at her as i hold her bridal style "are you ok?" i ask with a small smile which cant be seen as she stares up at my masked faced, her face turning the same colour as vi's hair.

"A-ah.. yes im ok t-thank you" she stutters, i let her down from my arms as i walk back into the run down house i open the door for her and explain something quickly, "she needs a special potion and unfortunately i dont have the materials youll have to look around princess" i explain as i watch cait nod before bolting out the door to find help.

I sit nervously with vi just trying to make sure she keeps her eyes open,cait bursts through the door with a small bottle with liquid splashing in it, i let a sigh of relief escape from my mouth.

I open vi's mouth gently and let cait pour the liquid into vi's mouth before shutting it.

Vi's eyes widens as she lets out a heart retching scream springing forward, luckily caitlyn catchs her "hey hey, its ok we are here" cait says rubbing vi's cheek and taking a quick glance at her lips, before getting embarrassed and standing up making me laugh.

I hear strange noises coming from outside making me walk out the door...

"Oh zero, wasnt expecting to see you here" silco says his voice unusually smooth making me shiver "shut up" i hiss loudly, as i watch his eye widen "oh?" He says surprised by my shut down of his conversation.

"I was expecting your precious vi to show up" he says handing the people of the darkest part of the undercity shimmer, "im not playing your fucking games slico!" I say my voice turning bitter in a second.

"Fine by me" he says shrugging with a devilish smirk plastered on his face, i hold my axe steady as his shimmer infected goons make there way towards me.

"Ze quick!" Vi yells out to me making me run back into the house as vi punchs the ever living shit out of the unstable wood making the massive sign fall and allowing us to escape.

I help pull caitlyn up as we climb up the cliff just booking it so he cant catch up to us.

"Ze that was fucking stupid and reckless!" Vi exclaims yelling at me as i scrunch my fists up, "and!? I dont give a shit you always do reckless shit!" I shout back as vi looks at me in disbelief, while poor caitlyn is in the middle of everything.

"But you fucking do it for everyone but yourself!" Vi shouts letting her emotions go "so stop being a reckless idiot for once!" Vi says turning my own words against me.

I stare at vi before speaking up raising my concern "I could have lost you again for good this time, vi i cant go through that pain again" i say my voice lowering down, slight tears bubbling in the corners of my eyes threatening to fall showing how weak i am.

"Ze.." vi mumbles her voice dying out, i unclip my gas mask, my scars visble to the world "im sorry.. violet" i mumble as the tears fall and vi immediately embraces me into a warm comfortable hug, "no.. im so sorry gumdrop" she mumbles into the crook of my neck.

I get a shock as i feel a hug from behind from caitlyn, she stays quiet but hugs me tightly just like vi for once i feel...
