Avalyn stood there numb. She couldn't believe what she just heard. Her sister said yes.

Is it some kind of a joke? Is her every effort to save her a joke to these people? How can her sister be this foolish?

Pushing away from the old man, Avalyn stepped closer to her sister looking at her with disbelief holding in her eyes.

"Is it true Amy Stone? " She used Amy's full name scaring the girl at her hard tone. Amy nodded at her earning a chuckle from Avalyn.

"Have you lost it? Do you have any idea what you're doing? Him! Hunter Knight. Do you have any idea how ruthless that man is? Are you in your fucking senses? " Avalyn growled at Amy making her startled at her sister's sudden burst out.

"I did what I find right. I know he's a mafia. And a dangerous man but with time he will learn to love me. I know with time everything will get better plus with this partnership our company will get a lot of benefits." Avalyn chuckled.

"You heard our conversation, didn't you? " Avalyn questioned her with a poker face and Amy just looked down clearly telling her answer.

"Look, Amy. I know. I know he's a powerful man and has every way to destroy us. But do you think sacrificing your whole life will do it better? If he wants to destroy us he can easily do it even after marrying you. He can't be trusted, Amy. Moreover don't worry I will go to his company and will try to talk to him with patience I am sure with time he will accept his defeat. But don't make this kind of childish decision. "

Avalyn said calmly trying to make amy understand her but Amy wasn't having it. She knew only one thing that she has to marry Hunter as she knew there is no other option. One way or other he will get what he wants so it's better to give up without any damage.

"I am not backing away. I said I am going to marry him. And that's final. " Amy exclaimed earning a look of disbelief from Avalyn while Mr. Stone sensed the tense situation but before he could say something Avalyn interrupted.

"Let me tell you, you're being stupid right now. If he wanted to marry only you then trust me he would never propose to me but he did. His intentions are not to get married to you but he has something else. Something too dangerous in his mind and by making this decision you're making his plan to work out easily. "

Avalyn's continuous denial and argument against Hunter Knight made Amy frustrated. She already wanted some time to make her mind to accept Hunter but her sister is making the situation tougher for her.

"Why are you so upset? Why do you care about this matter so much? It's my life and I am deciding to marry him. Why are you keep on manipulating me?" Amy in anger kept on blabbering things. She has no idea how much her words hurt Avalyn but because of frustration, she was not in her right mind.

"Amy what are--" Mr. Stons tried to interrupt the heated argument but Avalyn halted his words.

"No father. What did you just say? Why do I care? I am your sister for God's sake. I love you and I don't want anything bad to happen to you that's why --- "

Before Avalyn could complete her sentence Amy interrupted her and spat the most poisonous words which didn't fail to break Avalyn's heart.

"YOU'RE NOT MY REAL SISTER. STOP INTERFERING IN MY LIFE. YOUR JUST --- "

Her words got cut down with a hard tone of Mr. Stone. "Shut up Amy Stone! What the hell are you saying? Apologize to your sister right now!"

Mr. Stone roared at Amy for using knife like words for her sister while Avalyn was frozen in her place. She never expected that Amy can ever use these kind of words for her sister.
