Chapter One

It's been 18 years since I've seen Lee, my childhood best friend. I sat down on my bed, it wasn't really a bed. Just some pillows on the ground

"Where are you now..?" I still had the necklace he gave me years ago, it still looked brand new. Just then my uncle slammed open my bedroom door

"Y/N, I need your help" He looked desperate, something I never seen from him before. I had to cash in

"What kind?" I said trying to sound like I care

"Look" He walked towards me and handed me a card, that had a circle triangle and square. The other one had a number '8650 4006', I looked at him confused

"What's this?" He sighed and sat on the floor next to me

"Remember when I said your father went away a long time ago?" I nodded, what did my father have to do with this sketchy card?

"Yeah? What about it??" A silence came between us until he finally broke it

"I-I know how he went missing..." My eyes widened, this shit went from 1-100 real quick

"How?" I sat there listening intensely

"W-Well a long time ago..."

{Flashback}

"Well we have to do something!" Y/N's mom said while clutching her fist

"I have found a way to make money, this strange man in the train station. We played a game of ddajka, I won one round. And I got 100 won. He gave me this card" Y/N's dad handed Y/N's mom the two cards

"Don't you think this seems sketchy?" Y/N's dad shrugged

"Well it's money, what we need and want" Y/N's dad went into the living room and called the number, after a few minutes someone answered the phone

"Hello, how may I help you?" Y/N's dad cleared his throat

"Yes, I accept the offer"

"You're Y/N, 25 year old. 160 million won is your debt, correct?" Y/N's dad was about to drop the phone and hang up right then and there

"Y-Yes"

"Password is red light, green light"

"Meet in front of your house, at 3am. Sharp, don't be late" Y/N's dad nodded, giving him enough time to say goodbye to his wife and kid. (At 3am) Y/N's dad stood there daydreaming of a new life for him and his child, when his thoughts were disturbed by someone honking their horn. Y/N's dad looked and seen the car, he darted towards it

"S-Sorry"

"Password?"

"Red light, green light" The car doors slowly opened and Y/N's dad stepped inside not knowing what awaited him

"Where are we going?" The man just drove off, just then some strange gas came from the car. Making Y/N's dad pass out. Well not completely, he still had some consciousness. But he still pretended not to have any at all. Y/N noticed right away that something was wrong, they wasn't on the road anymore. Instead... something else. (When they arrive at the island) The car doors opened once again, and a man with a triangle mask opened the car doors and picked Y/N's dad up and put him into a hall with some people, he felt his clothes being ripped off

"He has a shrimp" Y/N's dad heard a person say, he tried hard not to get up and slap one of the right then and there, just then Y/N's dad felt that he was being placed into a bed (In the morning)

Y/N's dad woke up and noticed some people talking in a little corner of the room, the hall doors opened and out of it came 3 guards with weird mask. Y/N's went went to get a closer look

"We would like to extend our heartfelt welcome to all of our players" His voice sounded non-human, like an alien.. no emotion shown

"Everyone here would participate in six games in six days, whoever wins all the games. Win a handsome cash prize" Everyone started mumbling to themselves

"How are we supposed to believe that?" Someone says, Y/N's dad turned around to the speaker. She had short hair and her name was 234

"You bring us to sleep, take all of our contact with the outside world away, then bring us to this.. island or place. And you wear those masks, how will we believe you?" The man pressed a button showing her on the screen

"Ehuang-Bai, 29 year old. current lost 156 million" Y/N's dad watched her face go red from embarrassment

{End Of Flashback}

"Long story short, he died in the last game" My eyes widened, all this while I thought he left. But he actually died trying to feed me and my mom..

"Oh my..." I looked at the card in my hand, my mind thought back to when Lee got adopted. He was wearing the same mask uncle described, or am I just seeing things?

"I wanna try" I said firmly

"Are you nuts?! Your father died there!" I stood up

"Think about it, your brother disappeared. This could be the only way we could find them" He thought for a moment

"Are you sure?" I nodded 

"I'm sure Jun-Ho" He smiled

"You're just like your father, determined" I grabbed my phone and unlocked it, 5%.. just enough battery power. I called the number and it rung for a moment until someone answered

"Hello, how may I help you?" I gulped

"I'm here about the games" I said with a shaky voice

"You're Y/N, right?" I nodded

"Yes"

"The password is red light, green light"

"Meet me at 4am sharp, in front of your house. Don't be late" I hung up and looked at Jun-Ho

"Here's the plan, I get into the car. And you get in your car and follow me" He nodded

"You're really smart, you should go back to college" I smiled

"I'm already in debt with loan sharks, plus college is boring" He giggled

"Let's just get ready, we only have a couple more hours" (At 4am) I stood there waiting for the car, I hoped everything worked out good. Just then a black SUV pulled up in front of me

"Password?" His voice... I know that voice... I know that voice

"Red light, green light" Just like uncle described, the car doors slowly opened, I got inside. I said nothing knowing what would happen next, he began to drive off and some gas came from the car. I passed out, but not completely. Maybe I was like father, I looked to my left and seen Jun-Ho following us, I smirked mentally.
