We all walked back into the room my mind racing with thoughts I walked up to Gi-Hun and Sang-Woo, who was sitting next to each other. I sat next to Sang-Woo on the floor

"Thank you.. Y/N." I felt some type of way when he said my name, like a tingling sensation. Like a girl talking to her crush for the first time

"For what?" I said trying not to stutter

"You still didn't answer my question" Gi-Hun said with a smirk on his face

"Maybe because I don't want to" Sang-Woo said with a serious look, I didn't bother to stop them from fighting. Once again the big doors opened and out came the guards.

"All of you survived the first game, congratulations" The guard with the square mask said

"And as we promised, I shall announce the results of the first game" The screen in front of us displayed that the number of players decreased from 456 to 201. 255 died that day, I couldn't live with myself. I couldn't one player stepped in front of the guards and got on his knees

"Sir! I'm so so sorry! I shall pay all of my debts" Player 245, I chuckled in amusement. With what money? It's like she completely forget she was broke

"Please sir, I have a child. I haven't registered my baby's birth because I haven't named my baby yet" Another player cry's out, the guard wasn't moved. It's like he wasn't human, although he was. More people began to beg for mercy from the cold, emotionless guards.

"There seems to be a misunderstanding, we are not trying to hurt you or collect your debts. We are here to give you a chance"

"You call this a chance?" 199 steps forward

"You kill us while making us play a kids game, how is that a chance?" I just stood silent watching everything very carefully

"A chance at death" I mumbled to myself

"We may be in debt, but that doesn't mean we deserve to die" 217 cries out

"This is just a game" I heard Gi-Hun scoff

"You killed all those people! Yet you still call this a game?"

"They were simply eliminated for breaking the rules of the game. If you just follow the rules, you can leave this place alive and with a lot of money as we promised." I somewhat didn't care for the money anymore, all those people were killed..

"I don't want that money, just please let us out!" The whole room agrees with the unknown person

"Consent Form Clause 1: A player is not allowed to stop playing" The guard says without caring about the crying people in front of him

"Do you think you'll get away with what your doing? This is kidnapping! The police will track our phones and be here any second now" Are they stupid or what? This is an island, not a local grocery store. The police couldn't track us down even if they tried

"He's right!" Number six cries out

"If you don't let us go, they'll track down the location on our phone! Then you'll be doomed! All of you are done for!" The room begins to roar oh outrage, just then there was a gun shot. I guess it was the guards way of telling the people to shut up, and it worked.

"Consent Form Clause 2: A player who refuses to participate will be eliminated" Just then Sang-Woo stood up from his spot

"Consent Form Clause 3: Games may be terminated if the majority agrees, correct?" I was impressed, even though he was a highschool drop out. He's still the same smart person I knew since I was a kid, there was a silence before the guard answered

"Yes that is correct"

"Then let all of us take a vote, if majority of us wish to leave. Then you have to let us go" He took another minute before answering Sang-Woo

"As you wish" I felt my lungs finally being able to breathe, it's like everyone felt the same way.

"We will take a vote to decide the termination of the game" One of the guards announces

"But before that, I shall announce the results of the first game." The guard clicks on the remote in his hand and the piggy bank once again came from the ceiling. Cash falls into the now full piggy bank, the players who complained about wanting to go home gasped in amazement. And who wouldn't? I haven't seen that much money in a while

"A total of 255 players were eliminated during the first game, a hundred million won is at stake for each player. Therefore 25.5 billion won is of the prize money" 25.5 billion won, that's enough to pay off my debts right now.

"So each of us is worth 100 million won?" Sang-Woo said while giving me a surprised look

"That means when one of us dies... the amount of the prize money.. increases every time someone gets eliminated" Gi-Hun was just breathing heavily and panting, I couldn't give up now. There was too much left to lose

"If you wish to give up now the 25.5 billion won will be sent to the bereaved families of the eliminated players. 100 million won each, however all of you will go home empty handed" I glanced at Sang-Woo who was starting at me, once he noticed me staring he looked away. I smiled

"Still wouldn't solve much depending on a persons debt" I think to myself

"Excuse me?" Number 212 speaks up again

"If we make it through all six games how much money will we get?"

"Since there are 456 players, the total amount of money is 45.6" Suddenly the whole room went silent, I glanced at the voting system in front of me.

"We will begin voting now" The podium was set in front of the room, with two button. X and O, I guess it mean if we wanted to continue or not. I had my eyes on the red button, Gi-Hun and Sang-Woo did too.

"The voting will be done in reverse order of the numbers on your chest" Gi-Hun looks down at his number and slowly makes his way to the podium, with no hesitation he presses the red button. Sang-Woo sighed in relief

It was my turn to vote I walked up to the podium I stared at the red button and also the green button, I didn't know which one to pick. Uncle was here also.. I couldn't just leave him 'Press Green' my gut said and that's what I did, I pressed the red button. I walked back over to Sang-Woo and Gi-Hun who had their eyes and mouths wide open

"Why would you do that?!" Gi-Hun growled at me

"For reasons.." I simply answered

"What good reason do you have for pressing red?" I glared at Sang-Woo trying not to lose my anger

"For reason you wouldn't understand alright?!" I yelled back

"Y/N, I love you and all but.. why?" I shoved past Sang-Woo and sat in the corner by myself just then a guy with the number 199 came up to me and sat down besides me

"Hello" He calmly says

"Hey" I said not looking at him

"So what did you vote?" I looked up at him

"I voted to stay here.. for reasons" He simply smiled

"I understand, where do you come from?" He was so calm and nice unlike Gi-Hun

"From Korea, and you?"

"Pakistan" My eyes widened as I looked at him

"Pakistan war or.. Pakistan the country?"

"Pakistan the country" I smiled and he smiled back, I feel so guilty for voting green
