Chapter 2 (Mission Accomplished)

Carter: "already everyone, as soon as I get contact from the pelican pilot, when they arrive, on the platform, then we will proceed with the mission, understood noble?"                                                         
Carter addressed his entire team.                                                                                                                                   
: "Yes sir!"                                                                                                                                                                                   
the entire team replied back to their leader.                                 

Carter nodded his head, as he liked the confidence coming from each member of the noble team. He turned around and faced the door, that would lead near the landing platform so they will be able to escape the covenant battle cruiser ship.

Carter had a tight grip on his assault rifle, ready to shoot any covenant that would appear in his sight. On his left hand side was six who held her rifle up, while in her other hand she had Carter jet pack that had a timer bomb strapped onto it.

Emile who stood behind six, loaded another shotgun shell to use, the violent spartan planned to use every shotgun shell to kill any covenant that comes in his way. By his side was the big man Jorge, who was in his usual stance, ready to use his mini chain gun to blast his way and proceed with the mission that was given to him.

On the right hand side, of Carter was second in command Kat the brains of the team. She loaded a fresh mag into her assault rifle. She looked over her shoulder and looked at the noble leader. Both of them nodded to each other, Kat could see that Carter, was being more responsible and serious of this task.

The two Spartans did not want to suffer the same fate, like they did when they lost Thom. Carter was about to whisper something to Kat, until he heard his COM go off.
Pelican pilot: "noble leader come in?"
Carter pressed the left side of his helmet, to activate his COM.
Carter: "go ahead."
Carter responded back.
Pilot: "we are nearly coming into the covenant ship, but we need your team to clear the LZ when we land... at the moment it's too hot to land ."
Pilot reported as he could see on his radar, a lot of red dots marking as the enemy.

Carter: "Understood will get it done." Carter glanced back at his team, who nodded back knowing what they need to do. "Carter out." He disconnected the call, and got into his stance. "Alright noble, you heard the pilot let's get out there!"

Carter opened the door, and the entire team ran out to the huge opening of the covenant landing zone. Noble team could see vast amount of Covenant enemies all spread out in different sections.

Jun immediately started to snipe each Jackal, from the top floors above, while the Spartans and ODST where on the ground floor. Carter moved to cover behind a pillar, along with Kat behind him.
Jun: "don't worry boss, I'm already on it!"
Jun informed his superior officer, as he performed headshot at a jackal who met his demise.

Carter was pleased by Jun quick thinking, as he was smiling through his helmet. Then Jorge began to unload his minigun, in front of the elites, and jackals who where guarding the LZ where the pelican is supposed to land.

Jorge killed at least 4 elites, while Emile moved forward and began to headshot each jackal, in his sight.
Jorge: "Emile, behind you!"
Jorge warned Emile, of a few grunts coming from behind him.
