Everyone screamed 'Merry Christmas' as the clock struck 12
I greet them one by one giving hugs to each of them. I haven't greeted one person though, I can't spot Wonwoo anywhere so I went upstairs to look for him.
I opened the door to our room to see Wonwoo grabbing something from his bag.
I peeked as I held the door open enough to have a clear view of what he was doing but not enough for him to notice my presence.
He opened a gift-wrapped box.
He took out a box of hot packs from the gift-wrapped box as he chuckles... He took out his phone and rang someone.
I could hear it clearly since he put it on speaker as he cleaned up the mess.

I turned around and closed the door with tears slowly falling from my eyes.
I hadn't realized that Wonwoo heard it until I heard a voice from the room, I quickly wipe my tears off.
"Who's there?" Wonwoo opened the door as you turn to him smiling.
"Ah... Wonwoo, Merry Christmas!" you shook his hand smiling brightly as he smiled back.
"Merry Christmas Haeun-ah..."He smiled as he pulled you in for a hug.
You froze as you wanted to cry right there. You patted his back as you pulled away awkwardly and went down.
You were all having fun as you went to the balcony to watch the fireworks as someone joined you.
"Mind if I join?" You pressed your lips to form a smile as he went up to you.
"Hey? aren't you going to greet your best friend?"
"Who? Jin-ae?" Wonwoo looked at you as you focused on the fireworks.
You nodded "I greeted her first in the morning, then you." he chuckled.
"Wonwoo...How'd you take our break up?"You blurted out as Wonwoo was confused as to why you suddenly asked such a question, he shrugged it off as he answered.
"I didn't take it too well...When you left I had no one, but Jin-ae. I thought You didn't love me anymore, I knew deep inside you loved me. Though why didn't you show it? I was hurt by you ignoring me for months that felt like years to me... Every second that passed by I was hoping you'd come back or at least contact me... But those months Jin-ae was there-" You cut him off as tears started rolling down your face leaving Wonwoo shocked.
