In 1980, The first music awards that Antonio went to, were hosted on the 30th of January. Antonio won seventy eight awards, for example, "Best Ongoing Music Artist", "Best Album Art," "Best Music Beat," etc. At the Music Awards, his worst enemy, Jason Griffith, only won one award. "Jason couldn't win more than one, because he wasn't an ongoing artist at the time. He was a new artist, and I have been in the music business, since 1950, when I was three years old, and Jason has only been in the music business for one year." Antonio said after the awards ceremony.
