_We were only centimeters apart...
Was this the crucial moment? Did she like me as more than a friend?
The situation shocked me completely into reality. My fear took control and spilled the drink everywhere.
«Oh, fuck!» I exclaimed. «I'll go bring something to dry this with.»
«Yeah, I'll join,» Apple Jack quaked. «Excuse me,» she added.
We both headed to the kitchen as the others was left with confused faces.
The kitchen was normal, or as normal as it could be in this horrifying house. The best part about this room was the lack of disturbing lights.
It was dark though. After all, the whole house looked like a dungeon. There were undone dishes in the sink. It was empty bags and papers on the checkered floors.
I started opening drawers and cabinets to find something to dry with. At the same time, I thought about what was going to happen when we came back.
Would they forget about it?
No, it's the Dazzlings in addition to Trixie we're talking about here. Why would they give up the opportunity to take revenge of me?
After all the rude things I've probably said to them.
Ops...
I noticed that I was zoning out on an open cabinet and continued to look for something helpful. A heartwarming voice awakened me.
«Right over you, dumbass!» Apple Jack giggled while pointing at a spot over me.
I looked surprised at her as well as I used some time to look up at the cloths. I could smell the dark taste of the spilled drinks, and it matched the cloths color perfectly.
«Oh right,» I remarked.
I locked the opened cabinet and considered if I was tall enough to reach the cloths.
«I don't think you're tall enough to get there though,» she said like she had just read my mind.
I immediately turned around. She was surrounded by shadow. Her arms were crossed and reflected a grin over to her mouth.
«I'm taller than you are,» I responded.
«Yeah, right,» she mumbled.
My nervosity turned into curiosity about her new behavior, and I liked it. My feet drew in her direction.
The silence forced me to listen to my heavy breathing. Her eyes studied around the room until she lowered her hat once again. (Like she always did).
«Nervous huh?» I asked while snapping off her hat to see her completely red face. She was redder than the Dazzlings sleeping room!
I couldn't help but laugh.
Cute.
«Where did you come from? A desert?» I teased her. I held the brown hat over my head for her to try grabbing it.
«I told you you're shorter,» I laughed.
«Hey, give me that!» she hissed while leaning over me to try grabbing it. She tried lowering my arms but couldn't.
Her last straw was to jump on my body, we consequently landed on the checkered floor with a dunk.
Once again, she was on top of me.
